La star messicana Rey Fenix ha riportato un infortunio al collo durante lo show della AAW “Lucha City Limits” che si è tenuto ieri sera ad Austin, in Texas.
Nel main event della serata, che ha visto Fenix & Pentagon Jr. battere AR Fox & Myron Reed conquistando i AAW Tag Team Championship, Fenix ha colpito un suo avversario con una springboard cutter, non riuscendo però più ad alzarsi dopo aver eseguito la mossa. L'incontro è terminato velocemente con Pentagon Jr. che ha schienato AR Fox dopo un package piledriver, permettendo così allo staff medico di soccorrere il suo tag team partner e di lasciare il ring su una barella.
Fenix è stato poi portato in ospedale, che ha lasciato poche ore fa e dove gli è stato diagnosticata una contrattura al collo. A causa di tale infortunio sarà costretto ad assentarsi dagli show del weekend e a rimanere lontano dal ring per un po'. Non si sa se riuscirà a tornare per i tapings di Impact Wrestling della prossima settimana che verranno registrati a Las Vegas.

UPDATE on @ReyFenixMx – He has been treated and released from the hospital with a muscle contusion. He is feeling good and will be back up to 100% after some rest.
