(1) Al termine di un torneo per determinare il primo ECW Heavyweight Champion, battendo in finale Salvatore Bellomo. La ECW era ancora nota come Eastern Championship Wrestling. I regni dell’ECW Heavyweight Title non sono riconosciuti dalla WWE.
(2) Vincendo il titolo per forfait. La ECW si unì alla NWA nove giorni più tardi e il titolo cambiò denominazione, diventando l’NWA-ECW Heavyweight Title.

(19) Nitro, che sostituì all’ultimo momento Chris Benoit a causa della sua morte (all’epoca sconosciuta), sconfisse CM Punk in un match per riassegnare il titolo, reso vacante dopo che Lashley fu draftato al roster di Raw. Nell’episodio della ECW del 17 luglio 2007 Nitro cambiò ringname, diventando John Morrison. Nel corso di questo regno il titolo cambiò denominazione, diventando l’ECW Title.

(21) In un No Disqualification match. Poiché Chavo era un membro del roster di SmackDown, il titolo iniziò a essere difeso sia a SmackDown che in ECW.
(22) Kane era un membro del roster di SmackDown quando vinse il titolo, dunque il titolo divenne esclusivo di quel roster. Il titolo venne restituito alla ECW due giorni dopo, quando Kane si trasferì in ECW. Il 23 giugno 2008 Kane fu draftato al roster di Raw e il titolo divenne un’esclusiva del roster rosso. Ciò rende Kane l’unico wrestler ad aver portato un titolo in tutti e tre i roster.
