Wrestler della ROH eguaglia un record a G1 Supercard

Si è svolto nella notte al Madison Square Garden di New York l'importante show G1 Supercard, organizzato dalla ROH e NJPW, e come vi abbiamo precedentemente riportato Matt Taven ha conquistato il ROH World Championship battendo Jay Lethal e Marty Scurrl in un triple threat Ladder match.

Grazie a questa vittoria il membro del Kingdom eguaglia un importante record, diventando il secondo atleta della compagnia (dopo Christopher Daniels) a diventare un Grand Slam Champion, avendo vinto almeno una volta il ROH World Championship, il ROH World Television Championship, i ROH World Tag Team Championship (con Michael Bennett) e i ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship (con TK O'Ryan e Vinny Marseglia).
