La ROH ha rilasciato un comunicato poche ore fa in cui annuncia che “The American Nightmare” Cody avrà un match valido per il ROH Championship durante lo show War of the Worlds che si terrà presso la Hammerstein Ballroom il 12 Maggio 2017.
Il match in questione sarà un triple threat match che oltre Cody e al campione Christopher Daniels (che è però impegnato in una difesa titolata contro Matt Taven nello show di Manhattan ndr) vi sarà un terzo avversario che verrà decretato dal vincitore del Fpur Corner Survival match tra Hangman Page, Jay White,Silas Young e Jay Lethal.
