Durante l'episodio di ieri di NXT, è stato annunciato che non solo la finale ma anche le semifinali del Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic si svolgeranno nello speciale NXT Takeover: Respect del 7 Ottobre.
Inoltre è stato annunciato che il match del secondo turno tra gli NXT Tag Team Champions The Vaudevillians e The Mechanics, Dawson e Wilder, si terrà in uno degli NXT Live Event del tour di questa settimana in Texas. Non è stato confermato ma molto probabilmente anche il match The Hype Bros. vs. Chad Gable e Jason Jordan sarà disputato in uno degli house show texani.
