* Alberto Del Rio opens the show up and talks about Edge. He says it's his destiny to win the World Title. Del Rio wants Edge to come out and present him with the belt. Teddy Long interrupts and announces a 20-man battle royal tonight to determine Del Rio's opponent for the Ladder Match at Extreme Rules.

* Ezekiel Jackson beat Kofi Kingston. After the match, Jackson cut a promo about being the new #1 contender.

* Therapy segment with LayCool and them arguing.

* Cody Rhodes cuts a promo on Rey Mysterio. Rey comes out and hits 619.

* Rey Mysterio beat Drew McIntyre.

* Edge is shown backstage getting applauded by the locker room.

* Edge comes out to say his SmackDown goodbye. Big chants from the fans. Edge talks about his career and how he won his first world title in Albany. He introduces his mom who is sitting at ringside. Great speech by Edge.

* Alberto Del Rio interrupts Edge backstage and extends his hand. Edge just stares at him and walks away.

* Kelly Kelly beat Layla. More tension from LayCool. McCool came in and shoved Layla after the match.

* The 20-man battle royal consists of Big Show, Kane, The Corre, Heath Slater, Jack Swagger, Brodus Clay, Christian, Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, Yoshi Tatsu, Kofi Kingston, Rey Mysterio, Tyler Reks, Chris Masters, Chavo Guerrero, Curt Hawkins, Trent Baretta and JTG.

Christian wins and becomes the #1 contender after it comes down to him, Jack Swagger, Justin Gabriel and Rey Mysterio. Michael Cole got involved and hit with 619 from Mysterio. Edge came down after the match and posed with Christian.

Cody Rhodes Promo - Cody Rhodes has an in-ring promo, saying that he wanted to disfigure Rey Mysterio the way that Cody has disfigured him. Mysterio comes out and they fight. Rey nails the 619 and Cody leave.

Del Rio appears and offers to shake hands and edge walks away

Kelly Kelly beat Layla (w/Michelle McCool). After Layla lost, McCool backed Layla to the center of the ring. Michelle went to leave, but Layla grabbed her. Michelle then shoved her off.

Edge is giving a speech, says that was a complete suprise, he is thanking everyone including the cameraman wrestlers, writers, announcers etc. He is talking about Christian. Edge is really excited to see where Christian goes from here

"Probably isn't the last you've seen of me, but im gonna go off the radar for a while"

Says thank you, puts mic down, hugs mum, hugs booker t, josh, goes around to everyone at ringside

la fine penso che sarà dopo la puntata

Puntata interessante,per ER,a parte la modifica del match per il titolo dei pesi massimi,ancora nulla di definito.Contento per capitan carisma,i segmenti di edge saranno di certo toccanti.Il corre sembra agli sgoccioli,oltre a quanto avvenuto nella battle royal,c'è da aggiungere anche che ezechiele dopo il match contro kofi ha lanciato avvertimenti a tutto il roster blu,corre compreso.Lo split delle laycool prosegue così come il feud tra rey e cody.

Era giusto tributare ad Adam un finale di puntata,e spero vivamente sia visibile.Comunque era abbastanza telefonato l'incontro tra Christian e Del Rio.

Melina che mi rovina Morrison ... Drew che continua a jobbare ... che periodaccio ...

After the Smackdown taping in Albany, NY ended, Christian and Edge embraced and gave the crowd a "Five second pose."

This led to the entire WWE roster in attendance from Triple H on down came out on the ramp to pay tribute to Edge. Big Show, Rey Mysterio, Chavo Guerrero and eventually Triple H joined Edge and Christian. I was told it was awesome and the crowd loved it.

Edge gave a long "Hall of Fame induction" style speech to the live crowd, thanking everyone from the ring crew to catering on down. He specifically pointed out Kane as one of his closest friends in the business next to Christian. He thanked Lita and Vickie Guerrero. He joked to the fans that they needed to get their minds out of the gutter when it came to Lita "even though we really did do it."

Edge said he was going home to vacation and lay low and play with his dogs.

The fans chanted "Hall of Fame" at Edge. I was told it was a really emotional affair and really put a nice cap on the end of Edge's career.

WWE cameras were filming everything so it's possible it could be posted on the WWE website.

After Smackdown went off the air, Triple H came out and hugged Edge in the middle of the ring. The entire roster continued to applaud as Edge got on the mic to thanks everyone. He said one say he can't wait to thank everyone one day at the WWE Hall of Fame if he's lucky enough. Edge thanked the writers, catering, Kane (who he said was one of his best friends, Vince McMahon and Lita. He said most importantly he'd like to thank Christian who is his best friend for life.

Sembra un puntata davvero molto interessante.
Molto contenta che Christian, come da pronostico, si sia confermato primo sfidante per ER.

vediamo ora ci tra Del Rio e Christian, sarà il nuovo campione del mondo, molto probabilmente sarà il messicano.

contento per christian mi piace che sia il migliore amico di edge a tributarlo nel prossimo ppv.......un pò telefonata la sua vittoria,diciamo che avrebbero potuto evitare la battle royal tanto lo sapeva chiunque che vinceva christian.......per quanto riguarda Edge....penso che un dispiacere cosi nel wrestling l'ho avuto solo con la morte di eddie guerrero.....edge non aveva ancora tanti anni nel mondo del prowrestling ma cmq era bello prepararsi al ritiro tipo con ric flair o con hbk sapendo che la fine stava arrivando....ma da un momento all'altro vedere che si ritira cosi...mi ha lasciato davvero male.
sono sempre stato il primo a dire che non mi piaceva la gestione dei world title su di lui,che li vinceva un giorno e li perdeva il giorno dopo per poi rivincerlo dopo qualche giorno,ma ho sempre pensato che fosse un grandissimo wrestler,che mi emozionava quando preparava la spear e che mi faceva sorridere quando parlava al microfono.Ora spero si goda davvero la vita e suoi soldi con la famiglia.THANK YOU EDGE

Io dico che vince Christian. Christian deve battere Del Rio per rendere omaggio a Edge, un pù come Rey a WM 22 per Eddie. Anche se in quel caso la situazione era diversa.

ho qualche dubbio, Rey avrebbe vinto il titolo a prescindere dalla morte di Eddie, magari non a WM vincendo la RR col numero 2, ma lo avrebbe vinto; mentre la grande incognita è sapere se a Christian avrebbero dato il titolo a prescindere dal ritiro di Edge, io su questo non ne sono convinto e vedo favirito Del Rio, che secondo me avrebbe vinto anche contro Edge a E.R.
