Devo consegnare oggi la mia tesi di laurea magistrale, e ho scoperto che è necessaro inserire anhce un abstract in lingua inglese.

L’indagine effettuata si inserisce nel solco teorico degli studi sull’amicizia e di quelli sulla religione. L’ipotesi di ricerca è che lo stile di vita cattolico per i giovani si rifletta anche sul loro modo di vivere le amicizie. Per testare questa ipotesi si mette in atto una ricerca multimetodologica che unisce alcune tecniche quantitative (analisi dei network) ad altre qualitative (studio di interviste in profondità), utilizzando anche tecniche miste come l’analisi delle personal communities.
Lo studio è condotto sui giovani cattolici, cercando di dimostrare come il loro stile relazionale possa essere condizionato dall’ambiente religioso in cui essi crescono: in particolare, è stata scelta una popolazione di animatori dell’oratorio, il cui impegno concreto all’interno della parrocchia lascia presagire un forte impegno religioso. Gli oratori all’interno dei quali è stata individuata la popolazione sono due, entrambi in provincia di Cuneo. L’oratorio, per stessa ammissione della chiesa cattolica, si propone di trasmettere i valori della religione attraverso un contesto intriso di relazioni significative, connotate da precise caratteristiche. La ricerca si prefigge dunque di individuare queste peculiarità e, più in generale, fare luce su come i giovani italiani vivano i loro rapporti informali, secondo molti autori sempre più centrali nella loro vita relazionale, anche a fronte della perdita di importanza attribuita ad altri legami più istituzionalizzati.

Concerning the principal theory, young people catholic's lifestyle can get some influence also on their friendhsip issues.
