Tapings Smackdown 26/8/2011
Inviato: 24/08/2011, 5:06
Bret Hart enters the ring. He’s the special guest general manager for the night. He says he’s responsible for next week’s live Smackdown and we’ll see Mark Henry vs. Randy Orton on that show. Christian comes out and says it’s not his fault he lost at Summerslam. He blames Edge for breaking his concentration. He wants his rematch next week.
Hart calls Christian a crybaby and says he's an embarrassment. Christian pulls out a legal document and somehow, he gets ANOTHER title shot. This time though, it will be in a STEEL CAGe, according to Hart. This causes Mark Henry to hit the ring and remind us that for 15 years he's been overlooked. CONSPIRACY! OK he didn't say that word, but R-Truth would. Henry wants the cage match winner. Sheamus comes out, cuts an odd promo, and chases Henry.
1.Christian defeats Daniel Bryan with the Killswitch.Bryan has now lost like four straight of A-shows. UGH. Great match though!
2. Wade Barrett cuts a good promo and refuses to fight a jobber because he's too good for that. Well done, Wade.
3. Sin Cara def. Heath Slater. Yes, original Sin Cara (Mistico) is back, as you can tell by the botches. Botchamania.
Alberto Del Rio vs. Sin Cara is booked for next week's Super Smackdown. Way to save it for the tour of Mexico this fall, dummies.
4. Randy Orton def. Ted DiBiase Jr. (w/ Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes) in a non-title match. Very good match. Orton won with an RKO. Rhodes attacked DiBiase after the loss, so it looks like their partnership is done. Hopefully, this storyline ends with DiBiase finally getting WWE singles gold.
5. Divas Champion Kelly Kelly def. Tamini in a non-title match.
Oh s***...
6. Ezekiel Jackson def. Great Khali w/ Jinder Mahal.
7. Randy Orton cut a promo and is pissed about wrestling Christian again.
8. THEY RE-TAPED SIN CARA VS. HEATH SLATER AGAIN. Great return for Mistico. NOT!
Much better in part deux though.
9.Sheamus defeats Mark Henry by countout
Said to be a slow match. Sheamus gets the victory when he throws Henry into the announcers table. Afterwards, Henry did the World’s Strongest Slam onto the ring steps.
