Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics firmly believes AEW will MOST LIKELY renew their TV rights deal with Warner Bros. Discovery when it expires here in the coming months. It’s being said WBD seems to be very happy with AEW’s performance and ratings. It also has shown its commitment by launching a NEW STREAMING that will feature AEW content. Thurston went on to say AEW will also benefit from staying with WBD, as it will have HUGE access to a large and diverse audience across the Turner networks (TBS, TNT and TruTV) and of course the four quarterly specials on TNT.

Da questo punto di vista All In può diventare decisivo in termini di rafforzamento o indebolimento dell'AEW nelle trattative, ma penso che ormai nessuno metta in dubbio che il matrimonio tra Warner Bros Discovery e AEW sia destinato a continuare. Al più il timore di molti dopo la fusione era che la nuova società potesse investire meno del previsto nel wrestling, ma si tratterebbe comunque di cifre superiori a quelle attuali.

Credo che molti intendano questa come ultima run loro. Jeff, Dustin, probabilmente Matt, non mi stupirei se avessero un'idea simile anche Jericho e Danielson. Gli FTR parlano apertamente del loro ritiro alla prossima scadenza contrattuale (2027, credo, forse fine 2026), mentre Christopher Daniels ha già iniziato la transizione wrestler-dirigente.

Parlando di CM Punk: non è che la visita al backstage WWE (per quanto "innocente" e senza secondi fini) possa complicare ulteriormente l'atmosfera nel backstage e tutti i tentativi di ristabilizzare l'ambiente con il suo ritorno?

Potrebbe, ma di base non ha fatto nulla di male o vietato. Alla HOF c'erano Andrade e Malakai Black per dire, Cole è stato parecchie volte nel backstage AEW quando stava ancora ad NXT.
