RAW: Randy Orton e John Cena per la corona massima, ma c'è l'ombra di HHH
E' ormai certa la sfida fra il WWE Champion Randy Orton ed il Leader della CeNation John Cena. Però nell'ultimo Raw precedente al PPV trapelano notizie di un possibile innesto nella corsa di Triple H. HHH infatti settimana scorsa è riuscito a schienare Cena, anche se Orton lo aveva abbandonato nel Main Event a Jericho e proprio il Cerebral Assassin. Shane McMahon deciderà una sua possibile aggiunta nel match, ed il main event potrebbe proprio coinvolgere l'ex membro della DX in un match contro il WWE Champion. Rey Mysterio, invece, affronterà Montel Vontavious Porter per il titolo degli Stati Uniti.

SmackDown!: Chi sarà l'uomo misterioso?
Il World Heavyweight Champion Edge dovrà difendere il titolo nell'ultima puntata di SmackDown precedente al PPV, ed ad affrontarlo ci sarà l'uomo che sta mandando frequentemente messaggi alla Rated R Superstar. Questi ha detto che si farà vivo proprio in questa settimana. La sua identità non è stata ancora percepita. Nella lotta all'Intercontinental Championship, Jeff Hardy sfiderà JBL con in palio proprio il titolo detenuto da quest'ultimo. Fra loro due non ci sono stati ancora confronti diretti, sarà il primo in assoluto in questa nuova annata.

ECW: Step-Steve Austin e Punk-Christian
Da qualche settimana, la figlia di Vincent Kennedy McMahon è stata vista in ECW, nell'ultima settimana ha addirittura parlato col GM Stone Cold Steve Austin. Dopo che le è stata negata la gestione di Raw, pare che la sorella di Shane abbia rotto con il fratello, ed i due pare siano in conflitto. La storia probabilmente andrà avanti anche dopo Unforgiven, mentre fra Punk e Christian ci sarà il primo confronto per l'ECW Championship. Riuscirà Captain Charisma a strappare allo Straight Edge Savior il titolo?

Tag Team Championship & Women's Championship
I Tag Team Championships di The Miz e John Morrison ed i World Tag Team Championships di Hardcore Holly e Cody Rhodes saranno la posta in palio del match che vedrà i due team collidere contro. In questo match, dunque, un solo tag team riuscirà a vincere le due cinture di coppia della federazione, mentre non è ancora chiaro se Cody Rhodes riuscirà a lottare o meno dato il suo infortunio, ma pare che l'entità di esso non sia grave e che dunque potrebbe essere pronto. Il Women's Championship, invece, non è difeso da molto, e le divas non stanno lottando con frequenza. Probabilmente ad Unforgiven avremo un Thriple Threat Match o un Fatal 4 Way in cui Beth Phoenix difenderà il suo titolo.
