Grazie mille.
Comunque povero Nakamura...Tanahashi fagocita davvero tutto :LOL2:

Earlier in the day, Tanahashi announced that he will not be competing in March’s NEW JAPAN CUP tournament. Instead he stated that the winner can chose which title he wants to compete against, and the runner-up will receive the other title match.
Keep in mind that this just follows suit as the NEW JAPAN CUP is primarily held to build up contenders for the IWGP Heavyweight belt.

Ecco la traduzione di tutti i segmenti parlati:
Spoiler:

1st Match

×BUSHI / Kota Ibushi
VS
Jushin Thunder Liger / ◯El Desperado

08:46 Guitarra de Angel

Desperado “How many times do I have to be in a match with BUSHI? How many more tag matches do I have to go through? My title match is in two days, and I’m still stuck with this guy I barely know. Now, he may tell me that I’m that guy you ‘barely know’, but how are you supposed to be familiar with Mexican Indy wrestling, damn it! ”

- How was your tag match with El Desperado?
Liger “Tag match (bitter laugh)? It felt like a match where two wrestlers fought in the same corner to have two individual matches. I guess he only has his sight on Ibushi, but… Osaka in two days? He must be mixed with impatience and agitation. He doesn’t have much time left anyways. I believe he has the potential, but you can’t underrate Ibushi. He’s a brawler, high-flyer, and he’s got the speed. You won’t break his dominance so easily. I would love to see what Desperado could pull out in a title match. That’s all.”

Ibushi “I’m disappointed by the result. I wasn’t the one who got pinned, but I was willing to get a win even if this was a handicap match. I’m more concerned about the fact that I couldn’t pull out my best to the large crowd of Hiroshima, but I’m focusing on the title defense at Osaka. That’s all I can say. Thank you very much.”

*No comment from BUSHI

2nd Match

◯Minoru Suzuki
vs
×Tama Tonga

05:32 Gotch-style Piledriver

- So, you’ve first finished Tama Tonga against your war of Bullet Club…
Suzuki “Don’t tell me you called my moves wrong again. I was nervous during the match. Do you know what I was so nervous about? I was watching the 1st match in the locker room, and I saw you confuse the name of wrestlers and moves. Which TV station are you from? Calling a wrestler’s move wrong is no different from commentating ‘Damn you, wrestler’.”
*Pressing the interviewer
Suzuki “I’m talking about you, you stupid media! Don’t you ever mess up again! At least correct your mistake!”
*Suzuki returned to the locker room after thrusting the interviewer’s chest few times.

*No comment from Tama.

3rd Match

×Kazushi Sakuraba / Yuji Nagata
VS
◯Takashi Iizuka / Toru Yano

DQ (Iron finger from hell)

*No comments from Yano and Iizuka

- In the end, you lost by a DQ with Sakuraba’s Iron Finger from Hell…

Sakura “I’m sorry”
Nagata “What’s the matter with DQ? We’ve been on the other side of DQ so many times, and why can’t we knock them out with all our anger for a change.”
Sakubara “My apologies. I couldn’t help myself.”
Nagata “It means you couldn’t control your anger, and why not? There’s no need to hold it.”

- I got the impression that your tag team tactics is evolving, for instance Sakuraba exhibited an outside dive.
Nagata “Yeah, he said he wants to give it a try.”
Sakuraba “Nagata told me to fly.”
Nagata “We practiced in the dojo, and it looked pretty good. He’s full of Puroresu mind. We have to keep making progress, after all. Sakuraba has to break out of his shell. ”
Sakuraba “Still, it’s my fault for losing in the end.”
Nagata “No worries, it’s my honor to lose this way.”
Sakuraba “I’ll do my best next time.”

- Gracies await at Osaka.
Nagata “Yes. I’m pumped up for the match. We could use our judo belt this time, right? You won’t be disqualified for it, am I right? We would be disqualified in a normal match like today’s, but I’m all for it. I’ll make full use of gi. We don’t care about today’s loss. Sakuraba pulled out all his stops, and I’m glad for that.”
-Were you able to gain momentum for Osaka?
Nagata “We’re squashing with the Gracies with our outside dive!”

- Your opinion on your first match after becoming the GHC champion.
Nagata “The fans welcomed me really warmly. All eyes in the arena were on me and my belt, with so much cheer. I’ve once again realized that I’ve fulfilled something great. ”
- Yet, you had to start out with a DQ.
Nagata “The Chokibo-Gun I had to face yesterday and CHAOS are both unreasonable guys. It’s better to be disqualified once in a while if we have to let the matter drop every time. I believe Sakuraba broke out of his shell today Puroresu-wise, so it’s all good. I’m sure NOAH will try to take back their belt at all costs, but in the mean time, I’m presenting this belt everywhere and enhancing its value.”

4th Match
×Hiroyoshi Tenzan
vs
◯Micheal Tarver

09:15 1.9(Superman Punch)

*No comment from Tarver

Tenzan “No comment! Son of a bi*ch! [sic] Don’t f*ck with me!”

5th Match
NWA World Heavyweight Championship Match

(Champion)
◯Satoshi Kojima
vs
×Big Daddy Yum Yum
(Challenger)

11:04 Lariat (1st Defense)

Tenzan “Koji successfully defend the belt. Congratulations, Koji. Yum Yum my ass! And that guy who wrecked my face? Michael Tarver? I’m letting go of him. You know what’s happening to them? We’re defeating them at Osaka, and we’ll become the No.1 contender for NWA Heavyweight Tag title. I’m wrecking that guy’s face in return. We’re repaying them twofold! Koji, let’s do this. ”
*Tenzan returns to the locker room after shaking hands with Kojima

Kojima “I’ve lived in this country for over 43 years. I can’t lose to a Gaijin who just came to Japan for the first time. I’m attached to Hiroshima too. I can’t let him get away with a win.”

- Bruce Tharpe interfered with the match again.
Kojima “That’s the NWA package, so I have no problem at all. It’s programmed inside me. Anyways, I’m revenging the wrong Tenzan suffered today.”

- What’s your impression on Tarver?
Kojima “I don’t know. I’ve only seen him once. I have no idea what kind of wrestler he is. That’s same for Yum Yum. But he had more in him than I thought he would. Even from my 23-year career perspective, that is. (…)”

- Now that you have defended the title, what does NWA title mean to you?
Kojima “It’s a shady title in so many ways. This belt itself, the president, and the guys who come over. They’re all dubious. I mean, that could be said for me too. All wrestlers have to go through those times. Not all wrestling fans would rate me as a great wrestler. I’m probably one of those dubious wrestlers, if you ask them. And that’s how my 23-year career came about.”

- What would your NWA reign would be like?
Kojima “I want them to bring all the shady wrestler they have in stock. If he really were a ‘dubious’ wrestler, I wouldn’t think that the crowd would have cheered me so hard. He had the ability to actually corner me, and that’s why the fans cheered me. Although, he has that vibes, he’s not just a shady wrestler.”

- What was it like fighting an opponent you have no preliminary knowledge of?
Kojima “I’ve had these type of matches, but not on such a big stage with a title on the line. I’m thankful for the opportunity to learn new things after 23 years of my career.”

Bruce Tharpe “Kojima, Kojima! We’re coming back again! And next time, we’re regaining that title!”
Yum Yum “Listen closely, Japanese fans. Our hometown is America. We’re the strongest. Michael Tarver and I will knock you guys out at Osaka.”
Tarver “Tenzan! I crushed you today. At Osaka, Kojima and Tezan will be destroyed by NWA!”
Bruce Tharpe “Kojima! Tenzan! Going down!”
Tarver “We’re finishing you with my 1.9 again. Brace yourselves.”

6th Match

×Tomoaki Honma / Tetsuya Naito
vs
Yujiro Takahashi / ◯Tomohiro Ishii

11:27 Brainbuster

*No comments from Ishii and Yujiro

Naito “So, it’s coming at last in two days. I have to make my way up, after losing to Okada at the Dome. I have to heighten the value of NEVER title again. That is my mission. I’ll retain this belt as long as I have to, and I’m making my way up again. Ishii, I don’t know what kind of emotion you have toward this belt, but I’ll take on everything you got at Osaka. Then, I’ll finish you. I won’t let anyone get in my way. The star of NJPW is none other than… me!”
*No comment from Honma

7th Match

Alex Shelly / KUSHIDA / ×Ryusuke Taguchi / Togi Makabe
vs
Nick Jackson / Matt Jackson / Bad Luck Fale / ◯Prince Devitt

11:28 Bloody Sunday

Devitt “Prince Devitt, Bad Luck Fale, Young Bucks. We are Bullet Club. Taguchi, heads will roll at Osaka. Taguchi, Go Go.”
Nick “Alex Shelly and KUSHIDA. You guys are just green boys to us!”
Matt “Yes! You will be victimized by our Superkick!”
*No comment from Fale

Taguchi “It’s not Tagcuhi’s fault we lost. I had the chance to finish them, and I couldn’t. Never mind. We still have Osaka ahead of us. I’m getting my revenge at Osaka.”

KUSHIDA “One more to go. Title match at Osaka against Young Bucks. We will cut short the period through last May when we lost our belt, to 2.11 Osaka. Fans in Osaka, and PPV viewers, we are asking you to take part in the open experiment. Time Splitters will split time and get those belts on their waists again.”

Taguchi “Thanks for the Bloody Sunday. They all connect to the coming singles match. I need a singles match with him. It makes sense if the loser is asking for it, isn’t that right? I know you can beat me, Devitt. If it’s a boring match, you can finish me off anytime. You’ll see the true color in me when you face me one on one.”

*No comment from Shelly.

8th Match

Katsuyori Shibata / ◯Hirooki Goto
vs
×YOSHI-HASHI / Kazuchika Okada

14:38 Shoten-Kai

*Shibata comes backstage prior to Goto
Shibata “Can I share one thing before Goto comes back? Was Okada that kind of guy? Did he ever get that emotional in a match? His gears seem to be failing to mesh somehow. I bet Goto will win the belt.“
*Goto comes backstage
Shibata “He’s taking it. That’s for sure. (To the press) You got something to ask me? All I did was slap and kick the opponents. If I were to say one thing, I have a piece of advice for Goto which is… nothing in particular.”
Goto “Only Osaka left. I have a reliable partner now. I feel like the 2nd chapter of my life has started today. I’m in great shape, and I would like to finalize by winning the title match at Osaka.”

- Your impression with teaming up with Shibata?
Goto “It can’t get any better. This may be the most fun experience I had in my 11-year career.”
- Are you uniting with him again?
Goto “It would be such a waste if we made this a one time thing. I’m not letting it end here.”

Okada “Well, I think they weren’t bad for a virgin tag team. I didn’t expect to take so much damage from them. I may be in a bad situation for the coming Osaka show. I may run away from fear… Not! Is that all you got, Mr.Goto!? When are you making a full recovery? I was hoping that today would be a great day for your recovery, but it’s far from my expectation. I’ll make sure that I’ll call an ambulance for you at Osaka, so don’t be afraid. Young Okada will give you a work out, so give it your best.”

Gedo “BFF, huh!? So what if you won in a tag match? The Rainmaker will dominate you and show you that he’s on a totally different level!”

Okada “So, call the ambulance in advance.”

YOSHI-HASHI “Hey, Shibata. Your dear friend Goto won’t be with you at Osaka! I’m returning your favor at Osaka one on one! Damn it!”

9th Match
IWGP Heavyweight Tag Championship Match

(64th Champion)
Doc Gallows / ◯Karl Anderson
vs
×Davey Boy Smith Jr. / Lance Archer
(Challenger)

12:08 Magic Killer

Anderson “Hey, we beat them twice in a row! Bullet Club has nothing to fear! Because we are the REAL IWGP Tag Team Champions!!”
Gallows “Hahaha! What’s wrong, KES? We’ve proved our strength in these last two matches! New Japan office! You better prepare a stronger tag team for us! It doesn’t matter who it is!”

Archer “We’re K.E.S, we’re ‘Killer’ than any tag team. You know what I mean? I’m pissed off for today’s result and opponent! We’re coming back to the New Japan ring soon. We are the best. We deserve the IWGP Tag title!! Out of our way!”
Smith “Damn you, Gallows...! You got lucky today! But your luck ends today. We’re finishing them with Killer Bomb 1,2,3!”

10th Match
IWGP Intercontinental Championship Match

(Champion)
◯ Hiroshi Tanahashi
vs
× Shinsuke Nakamura
(Challenger)

22:32 Dragon Suplex Hold (1st Defense)

- Congratulation on your first defense.
Tanahashi “Thank you very much.”
- Looking back, what was your match like against Nakamura?
Tanahashi “I heard all the seats were sold out few days before the show. This has never happened before. I’m glad the ‘Tanahashi vs Nakamura’ became such a draw, and I had that on my mind while I stepped up on to the ring.”

- This might be your first time since last Hiroshima show to play an air guitar at the last ceremony as a defending champion.
Tanahashi “Yes. It’s been precisely a year. It took me a while to get back to this position.”

- Your finishing hold was Dragon Suplex. Nakamura kicked out of High Fly Flow, and you used Dragon Suplex to top it off. What did today’s match mean to you?
Tanahashi “Not giving up after your opponent kicks out of your finishing move… That is the current NJPW. Clinging on until the very end against all odds. It might not have been the best-looking way to finish a match, but I guess there’s a meaning to it.”

- You’ve retained your white IC belt, which had a deep shade of Nakamura. Isn’t the title slowly becoming yours now?
Tanahashi “This is my game with Nakamura and all the Puroresu fans. Their memory is renewed every second. It’s been about a month since I won this belt, and although the next defense is not scheduled yet, the longer I retain this title, the more fans’ memory will be renewed. I know how to giving shine and value to a title than anyone else.”

- You’ve defeated Nakamura in such short time span. Where are you heading with your white belt?
Tanahashi “Nakamura talked about creating new values. Super no vacancy in both Hiroshima and Osaka. There are two brands to aim for this in company. Brand Extension. That’s what NJPW is going for this year.”

- What kind of action are you willing to show the fans from now on, you personally?
Tanahashi “I’m taking this route (holding the belt) at all costs. I talked about black (IWGP Heavyweight), white (IWGP IC), and whatnot. They’re all my real intension. I’m true to Puroresu. I’m not deceiving myself. I’m all for this belt.”

- Your win over Nakamura has surpassed your losses for the first time in 9 years since you had your first singles match against him.
Tanahashi “I left my guitar concert in last year’s Hiroshima, and that was my complete model. Hiroshima gave me the strength. This is where I first won the IWGP U-30 title. It took me 10 years. Now, it’s my time to be chased by Nakamura.”

- Nakamura was seeking for Shining Triangle (flying armbar), and you finished the match with a Dragon Suplex. It reminded us of your old matches, and we felt a sense of fate between you two.
Tanahashi “The more choices you have, the more fun. So, why not?”

- What kind of stage do you desire for a match against Nakamura next time?
Tanahashi “It’s still not decided, but this is my 4th consecutive win over Nakamura. And I’m the champion. It all depends on how he makes the move. I would be disheartened if I were him.”

- It also means that he had been leading you by three matches. Were you not disheartened then?
Tanahashi “I have never been disheartened in my life.”

Nakamura “I want to meet him… the me within me. The ‘me’ nobody, even I don’t know… I lost… Isn’t Tanahashi’s arm crippled now?”

Io l'ho visto lottare molto poco.
