Perché non poteva esserci espediente migliore per un rimbalzo nei ratings e comunque ad Hart non avrebbe spostato molto, anzi, avrebbe dato nuova linfa al suo ultimo triennio di wrestling in carriera da spendere in WCW...
Perché durante il Pay Per View si era già buttato qualche semino su un possibile clamoroso plot twist nel Main Event, perché se fosse uno shoot io penso che chiunque al posto di Hart avrebbe reagito ancora molto meno diplomaticamente di come ha reagito.
Perché se fosse shoot e come emerso ufficialmente dopo Hart e i suoi avevano subodorato che qualcosa non andava non mi sarei mai fatto mettere in una submission hold... Perché suo fratello Owen continuò tranquillamente a lavorare al soldo di Vince, quando sicuramente avrebbe trovato un big check anche ad Atlanta...

Puntata leggera ma con un paio di segmenti notevoli. N2R si avvicina...
Si parte con degli spezzoni di Chetti vs Credible. Azione discreta, anche se Chetti nelle mosse aeree è davvero sporco nell'esecuzione, e Credible continua il suo push con un'altra vittoria.
Il successivo match Blue Meanie vs Jason è solo un siparietto comedy di due minuti che nel contesto di fine '90 ci sta. E poi tutta l'ECW Arena che fa le mosse di YMCA con Blue Meanie è magnifica
Va avanti linearmente, ma comunque in maniera funzionale alla storyline, il feud tra Douglas e Bigelow & Rude. Giusto da notare il selling di Lance Storm su Bigelow...
Taz & Dreamer vs RVD & Sabu è fino ad un certo punto una discreta spotfest caciarona, ma trovo davvero assurda questa versione "superman" di Dreamer che resiste anche alle cannonate in un 2 contro 1 per più di 5 minuti, e finisce pure per vincere il match nettamente. Anche perchè con una sconfitta quanto successo dopo ci sarebbe stato pure meglio, con il ritorno di Sandman a salvare il suo alleato in difficoltà...

Altra puntata di costruzione di November 2 Remember... comunque godibile, ma si vede che siamo in attesa...
Si inizia dove era finita la scorsa puntata, con Sandman che si libera di Sabu & RVD. Bene così. Poi, tra interviste e spezzoni dei N2R degli anni passati, si continua con la pesante promozione del nuovo PPV.
Il Fatal 4 Way Elimination Match è un classico match ECW in cui interviene chiunque, succede di tutto e di wrestling se ne vede ben poco, ma nel complesso diverte. Peccato solo per le eliminazioni compresse in due minuti alla fine. Vince alla fine Axl Rotten... ma non si può pronosticare un risultato al PPV.
Piacevole ritorno anche il Misirlou alla fine...
