Per me Wrestler of The Years ECW è combattutissimo: se la giocano almeno in tre, Douglas, Raven e, a mio avviso, Scorpio. Discutibili poi Sabu e Taz.

Io ho visto veramente troppo poco per poter permettermi di nominare qualcuno per gli Awards.

Commenterò invece Starrcade appena possibile.

Per me wwf king of the ring (soprattutto per quello che ha rappresentato a livello storico) e per la wcw starcade,che ė stato l'unico ppv wcw in cui tutti i match sono piu o meno guardabili,ed alcuni meritano di essere riguardati.
Per quanto riguarda starcade,c'ė un motivo preciso per cui hanno fatto vincere tutti i giapponesi?non so,qualche collaborazione....

Sarà un gusto personale, ma per me Shane Douglas quest'anno è stato davvero imperiale. Heel of the year a mani basse, forse uno dei più odiosi della storia. Su Raven, ho sempre avuto quell'impressione che nonostante tutto si potesse fare molto meglio, visto le potenzialità del buon Scott Levy.

Shane Douglas è una figura assai bistrattata dal revisionismo storico attuato dalla WWE nel Rise & Fall e altri revival vari.

Douglas spacca, e la ECW è stato il suo parco giochi, quest'anno più che mai. Raven è cresciuto tantissimo, ma paradossalmente credo che in un contesto più che"ordinato" sarebbe emerso di più. Però davvero, son piccolezze, sull'extra mitico come sempre, ma anche sul Ring ha tirato fuori sangue dalla rapa (Sandman).

Ripeto comunque che questo progetto mi ha fatto riscoprire Scorpio: grande mattatore di questi due anni di ECW, alla fine mi mancherà.

Sì, Raven a rivedere la ECW non mi ha fatto lo stesso effetto di un tempo. Almeno fino allo stacco forzato e al ritorno all'ECW arena. Da lì in poi con l'evolversi della situazione viene fuori un personaggio crepuscolare, leader carismatico abbandonato da tutti (mentre il suo ex scagnozzo guida la fazione più over del roster), solo con la sua cintura mentre i nemici bussano alla porta. Tanta roba.

La risposta giusta al MOTY sarebbe l'Iron Man, ma proprio non lo adoro. A quel punto Bret vs Austin o Michaels vs Mankind.
