10/05 THE GATE OF VICTORY ~DOUBLE IMPACT in Hakata~
10/5/2014 Fukuoka, Hakata Star Lanes ~DOUBLE IMPACT in Hakata~
1. YAMATO, Naruki Doi, Punch Tominaga{W} (12:51 Chinpirian Kick) CIMA, Gamma, "Hollywood" Stalker Ichikawa{L}
2. Don Fujii (6:39 Top Rope Chokeslam) Yosuke♡Santa Maria
3. Yuga Hayashi, "Mr. High Tension" Kotoka{W} (5:50 Caldera) Kzy, Mondai Ryu{L}
4. Genki Horiguchi H.A.Gee.Mee!!, Jimmy Kanda{W}, Mr. Quu Quu Tanizaki Naoki Toyonaka Dolphin (11:28 Diving Elbow Drop) Shingo Takagi, Shachihoko BOY, Ryotsu Shimizu{L}
5. Akira Tozawa{W}, Masato Yoshino (16:55 Package German Suplex Hold) Masaaki Mochizuki{L}, Dragon Kid
6. Open the Twin Gate Championship Match: T-Hawk, Eita{W} (22:17 Numero Uno Original) Jimmy Susumu{L}, Jimmy Kagetora
*2nd Defense
7. Open the Dream Gate Championship Match: BxB Hulk (25:47 Phoenix Splash) Cyber Kong
*2nd Defense
Contract signings for both title matches were held at the start of the show. The Jimmyz gave their typical simple promises of victory. T-Hawk said they were out of miracles. The champions would retain today.
President Okamura disrespected Kong when it came time to pass him his challenger key by dropping it to the mat. Kong was undeterred. He said he would force open the door to his dreams with brute force. Hulk promised to defend today, and return to Fukuoka for FINAL GATE as champion.
After winning the opener, Doi said the MAD BLANKEY momentum would carry throughout the card all the way to the main event. History would be made when Cyber Kong is crowned with his first Dream Gate title. Afterwards, MB would close out the last Hakata show of the year with a perfect happy ending.
Kotoka shoved Hayashi off Mondai Ryu when he had him in a prone position. He followed up with the Caldera to win. Hayashi was perplexed and upset, and refused to celebrate with him.
Eita said there was still one bit of revenge left for the Millenials to get from the tag league. He called out Osaka06. CIMA lamented Eitas' continuing lack of microphone skills. The Millenials had declared war on anyone born before 1990, so he supposed that also meant Osaka06. Eita talked about luring CIMA to Mexico to help train them. By now, they had stolen everything they needed from him. There was nothing to steal from Gamma, of course. CIMA said he watched their match tonight from backstage, and it was totally a Jimmyz match. Further, they couldn't even win decisively and needed a flash pin. T-Hawk asked them if they wanted a title match. CIMA said it was time for Osaka06 to return to the front lines and capture the hearts of the fans. They left without setting a specific time or place for the match. T-Hawk vowed to slay Osaka06 and defend the Twin Gate.
Hulk was a few words into his victory speech when Tozawa appeared and gave him a bicycle kick. Tozawa said that now he was over his slump, he was ready to fight for the Dream Gate. Hulk was irritated that he had to do this right after a hard title defense. Hulk talked about fighting for the Dream Gate 7 times before winning it. In the 10 years that have passed since he started as a trainee he has gone through a lot of changes. He danced, he was both MAD and BLANKEY. He had honed his fight style and now he was finally champion. He wasn't going to just give up the belt to Tozawa. Tozawa said it was also 10 years since he was a trainee. He has worn a gakuran, he was a great big fat person. But as a supposed contemporary of Hulk, he has seen nothing but Hulks' back on the road to where they are now. Even when they were in the dojo together, Hulk was given special treatment and fast tracked to elite status. On 4/8/2004 they joined the company together, they both debuted in 2005, and now in 2014 they would fight each other for the Dream Gate. Hulk agreed, and the match was set for GATE OF DESTINY in Osaka on 11/02.

*MAD BLANKEY fail in their 4th defense, We Are Team Veteran become the 50th champion team
A lottery was held to decide the pairings for the DH vs. ME singles match series. They ended up being Takagi vs. DK, Yoshino vs. Hulk, & Tozawa vs. Mochizuki. DK said he didn't have anything against Takagi, but Dia Hearts simply would not lose tonight. Takagi didn't care who he was fighting, even if he was fighting the tiniest possible opponent. DH claimed to have rock solid bonds and a fierce resolve. They would crumble under the brunt of Takagis' fierce assault. Hulk said there was no way he would lose to Yoshino, especially in advance of his title match with Tozawa. Yoshino said they were beaten last month in Korakuen, but the problems that plagued them at the time are over with. Mochizuki told Tozawa that while he was the current #1 contender, none of that mattered tonight. Mochizuki would kick him back to rock bottom and restart his slump. Tozawa disagreed, as he has broken free of his slump and was in perfect form.
Ryo "Jimmy" Saito came out after the opener to talk about his comeback match this weekend. He hoped the Korakuen fans would look forward to seeing him in the ring in November. He also asked them to support Kanda in his match later.
PT and MAD BLANKEY stripped Ryotsu of his pants, prompting a save by Dia Hearts. Mochizuki said that although Ryotsu was a part of Fujii Heya, Fujii was busy preparing for his first Korakuen main event in some time. So they came to help. They attempted to comfort him, but he responded by yelling at each of them that he didn't need their pity, he needed pants!. He then ran off, leaving DH dumbfounded.
MB ran off T-Hawk & Eita after their win. Doi mocked them for celebrating a win over Mondai Ryu, as if such an event wasn't always a foregone conclusion. He had more important things to deal with right now. He called out Team Veteran. He said there would be special rules attached to their match. The return of the special 2 count rules. CIMA refused. For the sake of the old timers looking to seize their dreams, it must be 3 count rules. It wouldn't be the same if they won by 2 count. Doi said if it must be 3 count rules, it would be a non title match. Not like Tokyo deserved a title match anyway. CIMA had no choice but to acquiesce.
Kanda wasted no time in demanding a location for his Brave Gate title match. Flamita will be returning to Japan in November, in time for GATE OF DESTINY. So, the match will take place there.
Tozawa countered Hulk using the Package German by using the First Flash on Mochizuki before finishing him. Afterwards, he once again talked about the history between himself & Hulk. From joining Toryumon together, training together, sharing the same room in the dojo. They've been enemies, they have been successful tag partners. Now they will fight each other for the Dream Gate in the main event in Osaka. The winner will be Tozawa. Hulk said he wouldn't give up the belt so easily. He would win. He rattled Tozawa & ME when he asked Tozawa if he was satisfied with his unit. Tozawa blew the question off, and quickly departed. Hulk turned his attention to Dia Hearts. He repeated their previous thoughts about needing new members. At present they don't have anyone to second them during 6 man tags. Hulk said if Ryotsu wanted pants, they could probably scare up some pantaloons for him. He entrusted recruitment to Mochizuki.
Mondai Ryu shoved down Kzy after his loss. He left on his own, as MB also left in confusion.
VTR began celebrating achieving their old man dreams, but were interrupted by the Millenials. They argued a bit in advance of their Twin Gate match in Osaka. T-Hawk once again said that wrestlers had an expiration date, and Osaka 06 were far past theirs. CIMA replied that most of VTR skip the local house show circuit to preserve their freshness. He brought up the repeated ass kickings they received at the hands of Mochizuki last year. Eita said that while that was true, Mochizuki & DK both were no longer members of Team Veteran. They bailed for greener pastures in Dia Hearts. With them gone, what exactly was the point of Team Veteran? CIMA proposed that he could show them the point of Team Veteran by destroying all the Millenials and shipping them back to Mexico. T-Hawk brought up the idea of wagering their very existence as a unit. After some talk it was proposed that at the next Korakuen, after Flamita has returned, the two units clash in a 4 on 4 all out war match. If Team Veteran wins, all the Millenials will be sent back to Mexico. However, if the Millenials win, Team Veteran will be forced to disband. Yagi loved the idea, so the first ever Unit Disbands contra Deportation match was made.
CIMA said the generation that remembers the walkman would rise up and fight. Gamma closed out the show. He said that in his 8 and a half years in Dragon Gate, this was his happiest moment. He fought back tears while saying Team Veteran wasn't done fulfilling their dreams.
