cinque (orribili) match in tre anni di contratto. Pare che provarono di tutto, mandandoli diverse volte in fed satelliti, ma nulla. Due tronchi. Soprattutto il figlio di Bill Watts che in WCW sotto la gestione di papà era stato invece pushato all'inverosimile

Goldust diventa sempre più fantastico, e HHH comincia a pagare cambiali salate per il suo coinvolgimento nel MSG: esce al primo turno da un torneo che come detto più volte era fatto su misura per lui e che era destinato a vincere.

Dal libro della Hyatt: "Missy Hyatt also claims in her book that Varelans agreed to lose if she gave him a blow job afterwards, but Hyatt blew him off and said that she doesn't blow "jobbers".[8] After this, Varelans supposedly became irrational and tore up the locker room", storia poi smentita da Varelans.

L'arrivo di Hall ha inciso nei ratings.
Infatti, fino a settimana scorsa Raw aveva una striscia di vittorie sul programma rivale iniziata il 1 Aprile, con risultati spesso abbastanza clamorosi (il 29 aprile 3.9-2.1, il 5 giugno 4.1-1.9, 13 maggio 3.5-2.3, 20 maggio 3.1-2.3).
Il 27 maggio c'è stato il debutto di Hall, ma non era annunciato, così ancora una volta è riuscita a spuntarla Raw (3.3-2.8), anche se la seconda ora di Nitro è stata leggermente migliore rispetto alla prima (2.7-2.8).
Questa settimana, invece, la WCW ha fatto meglio, 3.0 (2.8/3.2) contro i 2.3 di Raw.

Debuttano gli High Voltage a Nitro (vagavano già negli altri show WCW da mesi).

Curiosità: il loro nome (Alta Tensione) è stato letteralmente rubato a Matt Hardy. Hardy in OMEGA allora aveva proprio questo ring-name, e inviò una VHS al WCW Power Plant con alcuni promo e match. LA VHS venne vista e rivista e, sebbene decisero di non chiamare Matt, gli fotterono l'idea del nome

Pitbull #2 era in un periodo d'oro per lui... e anche se chiaramente non poteva insidiare il titolo massimo per limiti di personaggio come sfidante di transizione ci stava. E poi era decisamente meglio tenersi Dreamer per momenti più importanti.
Quanto fatto da Taz all'epoca doveva essere una figata assurda per i fan ECW, ma onestamente non è che mi interessi più di tanto, anche perchè sostanzialmente me ne è sempre fregato zero delle discipline di combattimento sportive. Ma chiaramente son gusti miei...
