Mi immagino Sasha e Bayley come Bart e LisaSasha Banks Talks "Annoying" Vince McMahon Over The WWE Women's Tag Titles
Sasha Banks spoke with Sky Sports about how she and Bayley would constantly ask Vince McMahon about giving the division the women's tag titles. Banks noted they just kept asking for most of last year until Vince finally gave it the okay.
"It felt like the whole of last year we were asking, like we would be knocking on the door of Vince's office every week," Banks said. "Me and Bayley would go up to him and some weeks he'd say no and some weeks he'd say yes and then, bam, it's here. So that just proves that you should never give up on your dreams. If you're annoying enough you can make things happen and that's probably what happened, he just got annoyed with us."
Bayley and Banks won the titles last February in an Elimination Chamber Tag Match that also featured Nia Jax & Tamina, The IIconics, Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan, Mandy Rose & Sarah Logan, and Carmella & Naomi.
"I hope he understands how important this is to us and we're going to make it really special," Banks continued. "That's just Vince every week - you never know how he's going to be. You just have to keep on trying."
Had an injury or something else cropped up before the Elimination Chamber match, Banks said she would have put the titles on Peyton Royce and Billie Kay. The two have teamed together since their NXT days, and Banks commented on how they've also dreamed of being tag champs long before they made it to WWE.
"For me I would've said The IIconics, although they're still quite brand new," Banks replied. "They're amazing though, they're really incredible. And they've had the dream to be WWE tag-team champions since they were kids too. They seem like a real team too and if it wasn't us then I'd like to have seen them have it. Hopefully we can have some good matches with them."

Confermo, molto bello.

Chi glielo fa fare poi?

Survive If I Let You ha scritto: ↑19/06/2019, 16:05

Tornando in topic.
In pro wrestling, the line between real and fake can get blurred. For WWE Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch, it can get hard to know where the line is. Lynch discussed this on The Moment with Brian Koppelman.
"I do not know where the line is anymore," Lynch said. "The struggle is real, whether it is on TV or not. Going to WrestleMania was like a campaign because I had to get the people to elect me to the main event. If I didn't, I wasn't going to be handed that opportunity. Some people, they are given it and some people have to have the audience make them the guy.
Lynch certainly made the audience believe in her. She was a part of the historic all women's main event at WrestleMania, where she walked away with two titles, defeating Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair. But the business is constantly changing and that keeps challenges fresh for Lynch.
"Now, it is a minute to minute business," Lynch explained. "It's one thing to have a good match on a pay-per-view, but if you are not doing anything in between, if you are not entertaining people in between, there is so much content out there, you are going to get left behind and get lost. It's just a matter of constantly entertaining people, constantly bringing something different, constantly keeping people's interest and keeping them invested."

Re: 4 Horsewomen (Sasha-Bayley-Charlotte-Becky) Official Thread
Bayley was recently interviewed by Afterbuzz TV. During the interview, she discussed her career goals and why she thinks Evolution 2 is inevitable. Here are the highlights:
On Her Goals For Her Career:
The women’s tag team titles are special to me. I want that division to take off and women to have dreams of becoming a tag team and fighting for those titles. I hope the next few years we can make that as important as the [other] titles. As for me, since we just had a women’s [WrestleMania] event, that’s still a goal I work towards every single day.
On Which Of The Titles She’s Won Means The Most To Her:
All of them are on my mantle but the tag titles are most special to me.
On Evolution 2:
I don’t see a reason why there wouldn’t be an Evolution 2. It was such a success and all the matches were so awesome. It was sold out and had a great response from our fans. We should be doing it this year. If it was up to me, I’d like to have the NXT and NXT UK girls to have their own matches.

Re: 4 Horsewomen (Sasha-Bayley-Charlotte-Becky) Official Thread
She Used To Have To "Beg" To Be Put In A Match At The WWE Performance Center
Becky Lynch recently spoke on Brian Koppleman podcast about the sacrifices and hardships she experienced on her way to WWE, and her humble beginnings.
"My parents were separated when I was young," Lynch recalled. "My brother and I would bond over wrestling, we would go for walks, talk about things going on, that was our thing. I was going down a bad path, we are talking 13,14,15, I was quite young. I would refuse to do anything, I wouldn't do anything, I was just so apathetic. When I started wrestling, I came into my own self. I would always find groups of friends, but we were kind of outcasts, but I thought we were cool."
Training would lead Lynch to a school run by Finn Balor. From there she took on the name Rebecca Knox and was able to be a major player in Japan and Canada. However, the road was not meant to be easy.
"At 17 I dropped out of college, moved to Canada, was main eventing there," said Lynch. "Main eventing in Japan at 18, was signed by an advertising agency in Japan that wanted to make me this celebrity wrestler. Then my visa in Canada ran out and I came home. My mom was asking me what my plan was, I became obsessed with making it."
At that time WWE was entrenched in the Diva era. Sadly, Lynch did not fit that look. She had a plan, however, destiny had other plans.
"At the time WWE all the girls they were employing were model like and I was not," Lynch stated. "At that time TNA was in Orlando, so I was like I need to find a way to get over there. My plan was to go to school in Orlando to become a personal trainer, work there and get back on the radar. I had been in Japan was having good matches, I'm in there with this girl, green as grass, doesn't know what she is doing. The match was terrible because I overcomplicated it. The crowd started chanting women's wrestling, then it meant 'this sucks. I was so angry I grabbed her and tried t give her a German suplex but she held on and landed on my head."
That event led to Lynch leaving the business for seven years. However, through self-discovery and attempting many other athletic endeavors, Lynch went back to the world she loved and was a part of the first training class at the WWE Performance Center.
"I had to beg to be put in a match," Lynch admitted. "When I went down there, I had no confidence. I humbled myself almost to a fault. Sara Del Ray was the trainer and I had wrestled her in Japan, and I didn't want her thinking I was full of myself or better than anybody. I mind fuc*ed myself. I couldn't even lock up."
Humbling herself was not the only thing affecting Lynch. The NXT environment was quite unstable at that time. However, Lynch took a chance and pleaded to be put in front of the audience.
"NXT wasn't what it is now," Lynch said. "You were constantly scared of losing your job. Everyone was a minute away from being fired. One wrong move, one wrong promo, one wrong thing said, everyone was walking on eggshells. Which isn't a bad thing, but I was losing sleep because I wanted it so bad. There were girls that had never wrestled before getting on the shows before me. I remember going into Bill DeMott and begging him please let me just prove I can connect to the audience."
That perseverance has paid off. Despite rock beginnings, Lynch is now arguably the face of the WWE women's division. When asked about her journey lynch summed it up with the following statement.
"I was just so willing to do whatever it took to get my foot in the door," Lynch explained. "But if you can go from that (bad early characters) to main eventing WrestleMania and winning, anybody can do anything."
