Non so dove scriverlo: la WWE ha assunto Mercedes Martinez, probabilmente per non farci un cazzo. Male, alla AEW serviva e nelle due apparizioni che ha fatto era anni luce avanti a tutte.

D'accordissimo con te, ho addirittura pensato che in WWE possano volerla come trainer. In AEW sarebbe stata da mettere subito sotto contratto e mandare per il titolo, ma ci sta che alla sua età abbia preferito il contratto della vita con la WWE.

Su PW Insider Mike Johnson ha scritto che Austin Gunn ha superato un provino e dovrebbe firmare a breve, e che secondo molti terminati i suoi impegni altrove anche Colt Cabana dovrebbe finire in AEW.

Cabana comunque ha impegni con Powerr e un altro tour con la NJPW.

Di Austin Gunn non ho visto nulla, ma come stile dovrebbe essere molto diverso dal padre. Di Cabana conosco anche io quegli impegni: il tour con la NJPW finisce il primo febbraio, mentre non so per quanto riguarda l'NWA.

The New York Post recently spoke to Cody Rhodes about the “forbidden door” between AEW and NJPW. He said the door between AEW and NJPW might be forbidden, but guys like Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho are able to get through it. In the end, each company is focusing on themselves.
“I think the thing that was strange to me was people were asking for this partnership. I don’t know what a partnership would look like other than what you saw. Chris Jericho was part of one of the main events of Wrestle Kingdom, Jon Moxley as well. They both were successful. What did he call it? The forbidden door? … The forbidden door. It may be forbidden, but clearly the door is opening and closing and opening and closing. It’s public knowledge that some guys here, myself included, have exemptions to work New Japan Pro-Wrestling. But I know that New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s focus is New Japan and AEW’s focus is AEW.

PWInsider reports that there was no talk about a possible relationship between AEW and NJPW at last night’s AEW Dynamite, outside of happiness that Chris Jericho got them more exposure through his match with Hiroshi Tanahashi.
It was also noted that Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks have the freedom from AEW to return to NJPW, but an offer to return hasn’t been made. NJPW was reportedly unhappy about Kenny Omega leaving.

Me lo ricordavo anche io che tecnicamente l'Elite poteva fare come Moxley e Jericho, comunque è tutto assurdo per ora, alla fine nulla impedisce di collaborare, l'Elite e la NJPW sono entranbe scazzate, però Moxley fa il regular in Giappone e si citano senza accordi.

Ma a me hanno spiegato che i Giapponesi sono capaci di rimanere più risentiti di fronte ad un cambio di lavoro rispetto a noi occidentali, soprattutto gli anglosassoni, per i quali più esperienze e gavetta ti fai, più sei completo (tradotto: accontentati del precariato e dei contratti a tempo determinato). Loro lo vedono quasi come un tradimento. Possibile?

Ora la situazione è un pochino migliorata, ma neanche troppo.
