Non mi sembra che la WWE non abbia reso il giusto omaggio a questa storica stable, anzi ha dedicato un intero set alla sua storia; inoltre, come ben sai, spesso la copertina non vale nulla (vogliamo parlare di Kofi Kingston in Money in the Bank Anthology? Oppure ricordi un certo Kozlov sulla copertina del DVD dedicato a Elimination Chamber 2009?).

La Wwe fa di tutto per far ritenere la DX superiore all'NWO, non a caso l'aveva messa davanti anche nella sua classifica delle stable. Speriamo che rimedino introducendo l'NWO nella Hall of Fame.
Comunque una rivincita è che Hollywood Hogan sta in primo piano nella copertina del set dedicato ai più grandi incontri da ppv WCW.

Ecco la prima sinopsi:

The Sting DVD chronicles his entire career from his Mid-South days as part of the Blade-Runners (with Ultimate Warrior) through his last WCW match vs. Ric Flair on the very last episode of WCW Monday Nitro (3/26/01).

The video features more than two dozen matches in total, many never before released on DVD. This includes a combination of well-known memorable matches, as well as some fairly obscure matches including encounters with Vader, Cactus Jack, Hulk Hogan, and Ric Flair. In addition, packages throughout the title will help tell the story of Sting’s career evolution.

I match con Cactus Jack, Hogan e Flair sono già presenti in molte altre compilation. Spero che ne scelgano di diversi rispetto ai soliti noti, considerando che contro Hulk e il Nature Boy Sting ne ha combattuti moltissimi.

Però questo è il primo set dedicato a Sting, quindi dovranno esserci dei match clou, importanti anziché delle chicche, degli incontri rari per soddisfare i collezionisti. Ci sarà un po' di tutto perché comunque hanno diverse ore da riempire.

Sì in fondo è giusto che puntino sugli incontri più popolari. Penso che non potranno mancare quelli contro Flair a GAB 90 e contro Hogan a Starrcade 97, che sono i più importanti della sua carriera.
