Io purtroppo me l'ero immaginato Corbin vincitore già quando ho visto i partecipanti. L'unico dubbio sarebbe stato Elias, che personalmente l'avrei visto molto più idoneo per questo torneo (che ormai serve solo per tenere a galla i midcarder), ma non ho cambiato convinzione.

Come le altre volte non male come puntata, ma troppo troppo troppo troppo wrestling fine a sé stesso. Vorrei sapere quante puntate negli ultimi 2-3 anni siano state chiuse con un angle, secondo me davvero poche. Il 6 Men finale è stato ampiamente skippabile, forse l'unica utilità è stato il pin di Alexander su Styles per arrivare al match per l'US, ma ci sarebbero potuti arrivare comunque in altri modi.
SD lo seguo molto più volentieri proprio perché non ha questo difetto di RAW. Se mai lo show rosso dovesse tornare a 2 ore farò i salti di gioia, ma in realtà i primi anni di RAW da 3 ore contenevano molti più segmenti conclusivi non lottati.

Bello il tag match fra le HW, ma secondo me è stato fin sprecato per una puntata di RAW, con una costruzione di una settimana appena, anche se erano al MSG e serviva un match "caldo".

Sarà che non ho visto la terza ora, ma a me la puntata non è sembrata male, anzi, cioè fino alla semi-finale almeno (mi sono fermato lì) e ho saltato Natalya vs Evans. Mi è sembrato che comunque servissero a qualcosa bene o male tutti i match fino a quel momento.
Non so come è andato il main event, ma comunque c'erano degli incroci che portato a 3 match diversi. Non so se hanno fatto qualcosa Seth e Braun, ma sti cazzi francamente, il main event del ppv se lo dovrebbero prendere Becky e Sasha, altro che quei due.

Dopo un breve periodo in cui sembravano aver invertito la rotta, sono tornati al piattume che li contraddistingue da anni.
Io dico, mi fai una puntata al Garden dopo una decade e non solo non vengono sviluppate le storyline in vista di domenica, ma non succede proprio nulla che possa far ricordare questo episodio di RAW. Il segmento della firma non sarebbe stato meglio farlo nel Main Event con The Fiend che attacca Stone Cold? L'OC che continua a fare figure di merda una dietro l'altra poi... qualità dei match non certo eccelsa e anche il palazzetto è sembrato assente per gran parte della serata. Insomma, questi fanno ogni volta tre passi avanti e sei indietro... Per non parlare della piega che sta prendendo la storyline di Reigns. Meh.

Even Steve Austin couldn't save Raw from Monday Night Football last night.

Raw averaged 2.13 million viewers, its second lowest modern era mark in history for a non-holiday show. The 15.4 percent drop from last week was much larger than usual for the first show against football.

The number speaks to the audience watching Raw being less loyal as compared to other years when football started.

The only episodes of Raw in modern history that did worse was a June 10 show against the NBA finals, and this past Christmas and New Year's Eve shows, which really shouldn't even count in comparison.

The most notable thing is that the Austin segment should have been held for later in the episode, as Raw opened well in the first quarter, fell once Austin left, and continued to decline the rest of the show, with the main event being one of the lowest rated matches in Raw history.

None of the stats are good. The third hour was the lowest third hour except for Christmas and New Year's. The first-to-third hour drop, largely due to Austin, was the sixth worst in history at 21.9 percent. The audience was down 22.3 percent from last year's first show against Monday Night Football.

Raw was 10th for the night on cable, trailing news shows, football related programming, and the 3.36 million viewers for A Very Brady Renovation on Home & Garden.

The Houston Texans vs. New Orleans Saints game against most of Raw did 13.08 million viewers. The late game, with the Denver Broncos vs. Oakland Raiders, did 10.62 million viewers.

As far as viewers leaving during the show, from the hour one average to hour three, the decline was 14 percent with women 18-49, 17 percent for men 18-49, 19 percent for teenage girls, six percent for teenage boys, and 24 percent over 50.

The three hours were:

8 p.m. 2.36 million viewers
9 p.m. 2.18 million viewers
10 p.m. 1.85 million viewers

Dato che era nell'aria, anche se boh, mettere Austin all'inizio subito e non magari teaserare qualcosa che farà dopo nella terza ora. Detto questo con tutto Austin la prima ora è partita molto bassa

Se Wyatt va per l'Universal a HIAC (in un HIAC presumibilmente), allora deve vincere per forza.
Normalmente direi che è troppo presto, ma vista la capacità della WWE di bruciare personaggi interessanti nel giro di pochi mesi, allora preferisco che battano il ferro finché è caldo. Tanto ormai hanno dimostrato da anni di non avere lungimiranza e progetti a lungo termine, quindi a sti punti preferisco che buttino dentro al fuoco quello che hanno di meglio.

Nota sugli ascolti, che è significativa fino ad un certo punto (dipende pure dalla collocazione), sono usciti i rating per quarti d'ora.

Dalla partenza alta con Austin, hanno sempre perso pubblico in ogni segmento ad eccezione della mezz'ora con il tag delle Horsewomen che è l'unica parte della puntata che ha guadagnato leggermente pubblico (ultima parte della prima ora e prima parte della seconda), tutto il resto ha perso pubblico.
Va detto che la seconda ora aveva il finale della prima partita del MNF che ho letto è stata molto bella, detto questo era terminata già quando sono crollati nella terza ora.

The third hour of Raw did the lowest third hour in modern history aside from Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. The main event ten men tag team match averaged 1,788,000 viewers, making it the lowest main event, aside from those two nights, in history.

The viewership was down 15.0 percent and rating was down 8.8 percent from last week. Viewership was down 22.3 percent from the first week of football season last year.

Raw was tenth overall, trailing several news shows, football related shows, and “A Very Brady Renovation” on HGTV that did 3,362,000 viewers, the first week of a four-part mini-series on Monday’s. It brings back the six kids from the original cast all on the same show for the first time in 30 years.

The first-to-third hour drop of 21.9 percent was the sixth worst in history, and considering the opening quarter did 2.6 million viewers, the actual show drop was 31.2 percent.

The first quarter with Austin was strong, but if there was one notable mistake, it was putting him first. The audience tuned out when he left, slowly, and the erosion continued throughout the show. There was no mention during the show that he would be back at the end, although at that point, once people saw him, I’m not sure how much it would have meant a second time. Overall the show seemed very good. The matches were better than usual. It didn’t drag. But the competition of football and people seeing what they wanted right away were the culprits.

As far as the first-to-third hour drop by demos, women 18-49 dropped 14.3 percent, men 18-49 dropped 16.7 percent, teenage girls dropped 16.7 percent, teenage boys dropped 6.3 percent and over 50 dropped 23.8 percent.

The quarters were slow erosion, other than the A.J. Styles vs. Cedric Alexander match coming after Austin dropped 320,000 viewers. There was a slight increase for the Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch vs. Bayley & Sasha Banks match. Rey Mysterio vs. Gran Metalik dropped 215,000 viewers and then the King of the Ring three-way dropped another 100,000. There was another drop for Natalya vs. Lacey Evans, and the ten-man main event dropped from there and was the lowest rated match on the show.

The first hour averaged 2,362,000 viewers. The second hour averaged 2,183,000 viewers. The third hour averaged 1,845,000 viewers.

Detto questo da settimana prossima avranno una sola partita contro, dalle 8:30. Quindi la prima ora dovrebbe teoricamente fare meglio

WWE has announced that Maria Kanellis will be revealing the gender of her second child with Mike Kanellis on tonight’s RAW episode.

The reveal will take place during a special Gender Reveal party, hosted by Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins of The Street Profits.

The only other match or segment announced for tonight’s RAW as of this writing is Baron Corbin vs. Chad Gable in the King of the Ring tournament finals.
