[BJW News] The next defenses are set for for the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight belt and the BJW Tag belts, Takumi Tsukamoto resigns, and the Ikkitosen 2014 League announced.

—————————————————————————————————-
BJW announced that they will be holding the Ikkitosen with this years tournament being held entirely under “Strong” rules. Wherein the previous years deathmatch and strong would alternate depending upon the wrestlers involved.
This years league will begin this month and see 12 wrestlers in total competing in a split block system, A & B, with each looking to make it to the Finals, semi-finals and final, which will be held on July 26th at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.
Each match will be conducted under a 30 minute time limit with 2 points awarded to the winner, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points for a loss.
The wrestlers involved are as follows…

The next defense for Isami Kodaka’s BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight belt has been set as he will once more be taking on Ryuji Ito.
The two faced off just 2 months prior to this upcoming match back on March 21st at Hakata Starlanes. Ito has been claiming wins after wins to put himself back into the title hunt and this could very well be his last opportunity, while Isami is champion, if he is unable to capture the belt this month.

Re: Puroresu - Anno Domini 2014 *Topic Ufficiale*

2. Genki Horiguchi H.A.Gee.Mee!!, Jimmy Kagetora{W} (8:21 Kagenui) K-ness{L}, Dragon Kid
3. KING OF GATE 2014 1st Round C Block: Jimmy Susumu (3:56 Jumbo no Kachi!gatame) Cyber Kong
4. KING OF GATE 2014 1st Round D Block: Mr. Quu Quu Tanizaki Naoki Toyonaka Dolphin (6:31 Libido) Jimmy Kanda
5. KING OF GATE 2014 1st Round A Block: BxB Hulk (9:40 Jackknife Cradle) Naruki Doi
6. Masato Yoshino, Ricochet{W}, Shingo Takagi (16:36 630) Eita, Yosuke♡Santa Maria{L}, Flamita
7. KING OF GATE 2014 1st Round B Block: T-Hawk (17:35 Night Ride) Akira Tozawa
Kotoka is now competing as Mr. High Tension Kotoka. There is no real change in his overall presentation, aside from being a bit more enthusiastic.
YAMATO fulfilled the promise he made last month, returning to Korakuen Hall as Dream Gate champion. He didn't really have much more to say about it, because no one should be surprised or need to be told. Instead, he needed to talk about that traitor BxB Hulk. It didn't matter, because with him as champion MAD BLANKEY was still the center of DRAGON GATE. He called Hulk out. Hulk came out in MAD BLANKEY colours, to DEATH DANCE POISON . Doi told him that he was in perfect form, both mentally and physically and he better be ready. Hulk welcomed the challenge. MB started to leave, but Kzy rushed the ring and jumped Hulk from behind. It was all his fault that Kzy was now bald. He was going to get revenge on the sudden "superstar" sooner or later.
Kagetora, inspired by the incredible Brave Gate match in Aichi, wanted his own chance to fight Flamita. He announced he would be going after the title and that he had found Flamitas' weak point.
Susumu shoved down Kagetora after his quick win over Cyber. He took offense to Kagetora praising the match when he was the one who got beat by some 19 year old kid. Susumu vowed to win KoG to redeem himself.
The issues between Kanda & Tanizaki continued after their match. Ryo Saito came out and asked them to listen to what he had to say. He talked about his hernia and how he was still experiencing pain from it. He wasn't sure if he could return any time soon. Now, his beloved Jimmyz were falling apart before his eyes. This was causing his enthusiasm for pro wrestling to evaporate. If this was the Jimmyz he would be returning to, he just wouldn't come back at all. Kanda very quickly came around. If Saito wasn't going to wrestle, he wouldn't either. Therefore, the cheerful Jimmyz of old had to return for him. Kanda & Tanizaki shook hands, hugged, and almost kissed. The Jimmyz went to do their signature Jimmyz train but were attacked by MONSTER EXPRESS. Yoshino still had his sights set on Kanda. He proposed a 6 man tag for next month in Korakuen. Himself, Tozawa, & Takagi vs. Horiguchi, Kanda, & Tanizaki. The Jimmyz accepted, saying their restored unity made them unbeatable. Shachihoko BOY also had an announcement. He was in peak condition, and he too wanted a match with Flamita. Kagetora took exception. They agreed to a #1 contenders match next month.
Kzy attacked Hulk again, after his match. MAD BLANKEY was his. Hulk wasn't allowed to wear the colours anymore. Hulk disagreed. After all, he created the name and logo himself. It was them who weren't fit to wear the colours. They went back and forth for awhile until YAMATO kicked Hulk directly in his face. He told Hulk to shove his designs up his ass. He asked him if he was really ready to fight all of them on his own. This brought Yagi in. He once again asked Hulk if he was fine fighting on his own. Hulk said yes. Yagi promptly made a Nombre Contra Nombre match. Hulk will fight all 5 members of MAD BLANKEY by himself. The winner gets the MAD BLANKEY name. Hulk was left to close out the first half. He promised to win KING OF GATE, and generally make things in DRAGON GATE fierce and exciting.
T-Hawk closed out the show. He praised Tozawa, saying that Tozawa was a great fighter and a great on the microphone. He was great at everything, maybe even better than him. But today, he was the winner. He talked about the various unit troubles, and Hulk as a lone wolf. But really, that had nothing to do with the Millenials so it didn't matter to him. They would continue to bring the power of youth to the DRAGON GATE ring. Next month, he would return to Korakuen Hall as KING OF GATE winner.
This show will be broadcast live on USTREAM, and will be available on demand until 5/23 for $15. DRAGON GATE on USTREAM. It will also air as Infinity #337 on 5/22.

He could have gone back to teaming with Danshoku Dino & Makoto Oishi but he instead decided to do something new to become more powerful. What that was he didn’t reveal until after the main event. He approached the victorious Shuten-dōji with a can of beer in his hand. But just when it looked like he was about to have a toast with them he instead sprayed the beer in Masa Takanashi’s face! Akito then walked over to HARASHIMA and said they could make many dreams come true if they teamed together. HARASHIMA welcomed him to the team and he told Yasu Urano it was pretty nifty that Akito wanted to join them.
The DDT Extreme Title was up for grabs in a 3 Times Fall Match. The goal of the match is to pin your opponent for three seconds in a row. The catch is it did not have to happen in the same pinning attempt. For example at the start of the match Masa Takanashi quickly cradled Danshoku Dino for a two count. If Takanashi pinned Dino again he would just need a one count to win since he would have scored 3 seconds in a row. However quickly afterwards Dino pinned Takanashi for a two count, so Dino’s pin score was set back to zero while Takanashi was now in danger of losing. Takanashi was able to pin Dino to win the champiosnhip with a straight three count (pun not intended) when he countered the Gay-do Clutch into a Leg Roll Clutch. The new Extreme Champion then “honored” the former champ by calling him a “dumb bastard” and an “ugly fucking loser”. Makoto Oishi came to Dino’s aid and challenged Takanashi to a title match. Amon Tsurumi booked the match for Nagoya on 25th May. Oishi then said he wanted it to be the return of the Idol Lumberjack Death Match! Takanashi accepted and said he would have Emi Sakura on his side. Oishi mentioned she’s too mature to count as an idol but whatever.
Michael Nakazawa had a mountain to climb as he took on the no nonsense badass Minoru Suzuki. Nakazawa was convinced he could win and tried his best, he even attempted to summon his fighting spirit by getting into a chop battle. Suzuki wasn’t impressed and easily trapped Nakazawa in different submission holds. Every time Nakazawa was put in a hold he yelled “Impossible!” and wanted to give up. But Suzuki didn’t want the match to end so soon and he let go of his opponent just so he could apply more submissions. Suzuki eventually choked out Nakazawa with a Sleeper and was going to do the Gotch-Style Piledriver until Nakazawa tapped out before he was lifted off his feet. Suzuki didn’t care and he lifted up Nakazawa for the move until Yukinori Matsui stepped in and stopped him. When Nakazawa regained consciousness he asked Suzuki if they could team together. Suzuki shook Nakazawa’s hand but refused to let go. If Nakazawa wants to team with him so much then he’ll do it! In three months time they will team together. During those three months he’ll be training very hard and he wants Nakazawa to do the same so by the time they team up Nakazawa won’t be what he is now but he will instead become a hybrid wrestler! Suzuki already ordered Nakazawa to begin his first training session by doing 100 push ups right there in the ring. Nakazawa complained but Suzuki yelled that he summoned the demon instructor and must do what he says. Nakazawa could only do 10 push ups before collapsing. It’s going to be a long road ahead for him.
The Falls Count Anywhere Match was chaos. First of all, Kazuki Hirata did not appear with his team mates when they entered the ring. The match began with Sanshiro Takagi & Toru Owashi suffering a 3-on-2 Handicap disadvantage until Hirata finally appeared in the crowd dancing to Magnum TOKYO’s theme song. When he entered the ring, Owashi stopped the dancing by Shoulder Blocking his partner. Takagi dragged Kota Ibushi out of the ring and then attacked him with a kewpie doll. Ibushi defended himself by twisting Takagi’s arm over and over. Hirata threw Kenny Omega into a closing elevator and turned around thinking he was now gone. The elevator opened up and Kenny reappeared to School Boy Hirata for a nearfall. Takagi and Daisuke Sasaki brawled over to a place selling adult DVDs and they had a duel using the DVDs as swords. Ibushi got a bicycle!!! He cycled into Hirata’s crotch while Omega and Sasaki held him in place. A box of posters was then brought in and used to great effect. Ibushi did his best Steve Blackman impression and attacked Hirata with the rolled up posters. Omega then somehow used a poster to power up his Hadouken launching Hirata into Ibushi’s German Suplex. Omega then placed the cardboard box over Hirata’s head and with Sasaki performed the PK Heart to win the match. Afterwards Takagi talked about Minoru Suzuki training somebody as useless as Michael Nakazawa. Suzuki then walked out with Nakazawa and forced him to wheelbarrow down to the ring. Suzuki said he can turn a useless dickwad into a hybrid wrestler in three months. He then lifted up Nakazawa for a Gotch-Style Piledriver and forced him to do push ups from that position.
Danshoku Dino passed a message on to Guanchulo from his mother. Guanchulo wanted his mom to attend his final show for DDT on 20th May but according to her message she will be visiting China on that date. However, she will send another message that will be shown to Guanchulo on the 20th.
Shun Miyatake was again told he will not debut properly if he keeps losing so easily in his exhibition matches.
Akitoshi Saito will compete on the 25th May show. Danshoku Dino expressed interest in having a match with him that night.
The line-up for King Of DDT 2014 was revealed. The winner of the 16-man tournament gets a main event KO-D Openweight Title shot at Sumo Hall on 17th August. This time Cherry is in full health and she wants to face Kong under normal circumstances. Cherry also decided she will team with Danshoku Dino for her mixed tag match against Mio Shirai & Ladybeard in Union on 18th May.

Akito found himself at a crossroads now that he is out of the KO-D Openweight Title picture. Re: Puroresu - Anno Domini 2014 *Topic Ufficiale*
