uahahaha ok ok, non è il post giusto, ma volevo sottolineare che l'EX HW champion è tornato al suo ruolo ideale, con un contratto che gli permetterà di fare ciò che vuole quando vuole (30-35 apparizioni l'anno).

Effettivamente prima che andasse via dalla WWE era quasi "il doppio" come stazza di John Cena... ora Superman sembra alla pari o quasi del Broccolo...
Speriamo che si prendano anche Bob Sapp... Questo sta davvero esagerando non so come facciano ancora a promuoverlo come fighter, ci sono tante leggende che si impegnano e perdono pile di incontri ma almeno ci provano. Sapp inizia i match già sapendo che nel giro di due o tre minuti batterà la mano per qualsivoglia motivo.
Diversi anni fa dissi che Sapp sarebbe stato DAVVERO utile alla WWE, considerando le prove "di teatro" che già stava dando (non parlo ovviamente del periodo d'oro Sapp vs Big nog ma pochi anni dopo).
Un ottimo attore, un pessimo fighter... ormai.
Ho visto il match Sapp e Barnett vs 2 che non ricordo in Jap, e se la cavavano molto bene.
Dana White reacts to Alistair Overeem’s failed drugs test: “You’re an absolute moron, a brain-dead absolute fu*king dummy”
UFC President, Dana White is on the warpath tonight following the failed drugs test of heavyweight number one contender, Alistair Overeem earlier this month, labelling the hard hitting Dutchman a “brain-dead fu*king dummy” for screwing up perhaps the biggest opportunity of his career and lying to them in the process.
Speaking via The Star Phoenix, Dana fumed:
“I am beyond pissed about this. I’m so fu*king mad right now I can’t even begin… The worst part is that he sat in front of us and lied to us. How fu*king stupid do you have to be? Seriously dumb. Anybody who’s using [performance-enhancing drugs] right now is an absolute fu*king moron.”
“It’s beyond – what’s the word I’m looking for – it’s beyond belief. It’s beyond comprehension. You’re an absolute moron, a brain-dead absolute fu*king dummy. It goes beyond a guy have any common sense whatsoever.”
Dana went on to reveal that there is no plan-b in terms of who will step in to face current champion, Junior dos Santos but with the UFC 146 main card made up entirely of heavyweights, including former champions Frank Mir and Cain Velasquez, it doesn’t seem unreasonable to think a challenger could come from one of those fights.

It didn’t take long for the sharks to begin to circle following the news of Alistair Overeem’s failed drugs test earlier tonight with former heavyweight champion, Frank Mir saying he would more than happily step into the breach and face Junior dos Santos for the title at UFC 146 on May 26th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
When Mir heard the news from MMAJunkie.com he simply said:
“Oh, cool. I’m excited that maybe now I can get a title shot.”
Mir would be the most logical of opponents for dos Santos to face next as he was already booked into a number one contenders shootout with former champion and the last man to face the Brazilian, Cain Velasquez in the co-main event of UFC 146. Unless Overeem has luck with his b-sample I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest to see this fight announced shortly.
Che palle, salta un match che attendevo davvero da tempo ed è il secondo in UFC dopo Diaz vs St Pierre nel giro di poco tempo. Dannato Ubereem, anche se forse è stato un po' sfigato perché di test a sorpresa non so quanti ce ne siano stati in UFC e poi tutto il casino prima dell'incontro con Lesnar è stato probabilmente dettato dall'incompetenza del suo camp che non lo aveva informato a dovere. Con questo non voglio giustificare l'olandese però non penso che sia l'unico che prende qualcosa e mi spiace davvero che un match del genere salti.
Mir appare effettivamente come l'unico rimpiazzo sensato, obiettivamente rilanciare Velasquez che ha appena perso sarebbe palesemente ingiusto. Mi piacerebbe se nella sfiga (inteso dal punto di vista dei tifosi) venisse fuori qualcosa di buono per Werdum...
A me sembra abbastanza sgonfio, però magari è stato solo l'impressione..
