A me il sistema di ranking piace perchè da la possibilità di dare un senso anche agli incroci tra gente che non è coinvolta in una storia, cosa che a sua volta non ti obbliga a dover fare sempre incroci tra le stesse persone nella strada verso il ppv (tipo quando verso i war games abbiamo avuto incroci in tutte le salse tra il JD e i suoi avversari) il che è molto utile in AEW data la distanza tra un ppv e l'altro.

Inoltre se usato bene può aiutarti a variare una storyline tipo quando a DoN invece che il semplice Pac vs Omega inserirono Cassidy che era in cima al ranking evitando di dover per forza turnare l'inglese per non fare un heel vs heel.

Unico neo è che secondo me manca una figura di autorità che giustifichi le scelte, un gm che faccia da cornice allo show (che come vediamo ora in wwe non fa male) e che sia la motivazione per cui a volte si sceglie l'avversario del campione in base alla storia invece che seguire il ranking e che giustifichi il perchè in base a questo qualcuno va contro un campione piuttosto che un altro.

Sta a loro cercare di non castrare certi incroci perché i rankings non lo permettono.
Credo che senza Dark ed Elevation il tutto possa essere più fluido

Esatto il ranking non è un male se usato correttamente anzi, permette come è stato detto di costruire match e storyline stesse.

Inguaribile ottimista, è un'evoluzione perché nel caso si andrebbero a fare le somme e le moltiplicazioni.

News of the deal brings an end to the rumors that WWE was in negotiations with Warner Brothers Discovery, the current home of AEW, their biggest rival. While the finances involved in this deal provide a huge opportunity for WWE, it also opens the door for AEW to continue growing.

The path is now clear for Tony Khan to negotiate a new rights deal with WBD. There is no threat of WWE coming in to steal their thunder. Instead, with Raw moving to a streaming-only service, AEW has a chance to grow Dynamite into the biggest wrestling show on television.

This is especially true outside of the US, as all of WWE programming will be under the Netflix brand. AEW has a huge growth opportunity heading its way.


Furthermore, the constant rating battles will be a thing of the past, which should help quiet discourse between the rival fan bases. It should also help both companies focus on producing the best possible shows rather than worrying about growing the ratings.

Still, with more scope to grow on television and the ratings war seemingly coming to an end, AEW has found itself in a favorable position heading into 2025.

They may not have had the $5 billion cash injection, but they have an opportunity to emerge as the potential winners of this deal.
