* New WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz opens the show but is interrupted by Christian. Christian wants a rematch tonight and gets it.
* The Miz defeated Christian in a solid back and forth match with several near falls. Miz got the win after a quick roll up.
* Ryback defeated Jinder Mahal by count out. Mahal controlled most of the match but left the ring when Ryback started to make his comeback for the win.
* They recaps from RAW 1000.
* Sheamus vs. Cody Rhodes is next. Dolph Ziggler makes an appearance and watches from ringside. Sheamus wins with a Brogue Kick. Ziggler looks to attach Sheamus when Chris Jericho runs down. Ziggler gets beat down by Sheamus and a Codebreaker from Jericho.
* Antonio Cesaro defeats Santino Marella with help from Aksana.
* Damien Sandow squashes Yoshi Tatsu.
* Sandow cuts a promo after the match about DX. He's interrupted by Triple H who hits him with a Pedigree and a crotch chop.
* Rosa Mendes has her photoshoot crashed by AW, Darren Young and Titus O'Neil.
* The main event is up next.
* Alberto Del Rio becomes the new #1 contender by defeating Kane, Daniel Bryan and Rey Mysterio in a Fatal 4 Way. Del Rio got the win with help from Ricardo Rodriguez while Rey Mysterio was getting ready to win the match.

Christian vs. The Miz: Christian controlling the match early. Miz recovers and goes to work. Lots of boos. Miz threw Christian out to the wall and almost wins via countout. Miz is back in control for a bit, but Christian comes around. Christian going to the mid-rope, but Miz recovers. Both battle and Miz goes down. Christian comes off the top but Miz nails him as he comes down. Crowd is behind Christian as he recovers. Christian is now in control and there are lots of two counts. Very back and forth. Good match. Crowd into it as Christian goes for the Killswitch. Miz escapes and hits his DDT. Miz to the middle rope and is pulled down. Christian is calling for spear and Miz rolls out of the ring. Both are back in the ring and it's back and forth again. Miz then rolls up Christian for the win. Miz is your winner, and still champion, via pinfall.
- There will be a four-way contender match with Kane, Alberto Del Rio, Rey Mysterio and Daniel Bryan. Cody Rhodes vs. Sheamus is also announced for tonight.
- Jinder Mahal vs. Ryback: Mahal actually laying some hits and tries for a pin. Crowd is not amused. Mahal still controlling the match. "Goldberg" chants start and Ryback takes over. He hits a solid spinebuster and Mahal rolls out of the ring and starts up the ramp. The match is over, Ryback wins by countout. Ryback is not happy and chants, "feed me more!"
- A recap is shown of the CM Punk - John Cena match from last night, all the way through the Rock coming in and getting clotheslined by Punk.
- A recap of the six man tag match from last night is shown. Sheamus comes out to a big pop. Cody Rhodes is out second and the match is on.
Sheamus vs. Cody Rhodes: Sheamus is in control though the early portion of the match. Dolph Ziggler hits the floor with the briefcase... and dropped it. Lol. Cody goes to work and Ziggler is slowly going around to the announcer table eyeballing the ring. Cody continues to work Sheamus over. A couple of kickouts, but Rhodes is still very much in control. Cody applies a headlock, but Sheamus comes alive. Rhodes finds another opportunity and hits a back flip off the top rope, But misses. Sheamus hits his back breaker. Rhodes is back in control as Ziggler gets to the ropes with the briefcase. Sheamus eventually plants Cody with the Brogue kick and gets the pin.
Ziggler slowly gets down and stares. Chris Jericho comes in from behind in a pink Ziggler shirt and throws Ziggler back in the ring and Sheamus beats him down! Jericho mocks Ziggler and nails him with the codebreaker. He rips off his shirt and mocks Ziggler as he is laying there.
- Antonio Cesaro and Aksana vs. Santino Marella: Match starts of slow. Aksana distracts Santino. Cesaro works over Santino a bit, but Santino comes alive and hits his usual moves. Cesaro gets out the cobra. Santino is distracted again by Aksana but maintains control. He fails with the Cobra, and Cesaro picks up the win.
- A clip of the DX - Damien Sandow angle from RAW is shown. Sandow is next.
- Yoshi Tatsu vs. Damien Sandow: Match starts off quickly. Sandow quickly lays waste to Tatsu and gets the win.
Sandow starts talking after the match about last night to major boos. It's so loud that we can't even hear most of what he says. He finishes by saying he was "your martyr" and "you're welcome." Del Rio ancora primo sfidante di Sheamus (come preventivabile), vedremo se sarà inserito anche Rey nel match (dal momento che Del Rio ha "fregato", grazie al solito, prezioso Rodriguez, il pin vincente a mr.619).

Rhodes perde contro Sheamus, il fatto che l'ex undashing non sia stato nemmeno inserito nel fatal 4 way per il posto di primo contendente però potrebbe indicare che la WWE ancora non vuole provare a fargli almeno annusare l'aria di uppercard/main event, non so dire se al momento tale scelta sia un bene o meno.
Jericho mette un deciso sprint al feud contro Ziggler, grasso che cola.
Ancora nessun nome su chi sia il GM di SD, credo che per la WWE non sia così importante averlo dopo tutto

Il possibile inserimento di Rey nel match titolato tra Sheamus e Alberto potrebbe portare ad un TT interessantissimo a Summerslam.
Dispiace vedere Christian trattato costantemente in questa maniera.
Spero almeno in un buon match.
Jericho/Ziggler continua e va benissimo così.
Lunedì mi aspetto un gran bel promo.
Rhodes lo vedo parcheggiato da qualche settimana, purtroppo.
Si vede che non sanno che fargli fare e, piuttosto che rischiare di bruciarlo nel Main Event, aspettano.
Ci vuole un feud però.

Adesso hanno tre settimane per costruire un feud ottimo quale è Ziggler vs Chris Jericho!
Mi dispiace per Cody anche se almeno questa settimana c'è stato. Deve essere stato un ottimo match quello tra SHEAMUS e Rhodes!

Non per fare il difensore di Santino intendiamoci,ma credo che se il titolo US sia così poco valorizzato sia colpa,al solito,del booking team,perché un titolo,per destare interesse,deve essere comunque difeso,Marella quante difese ha fatto per il titolo? Quali feud (parolone se riferito al titolo degli stati uniti) ha avuto intorno a quella cintura?Si é giustamente parlato bene del regno (il primo) da campione intercontinentale di Rhodes proprio perché lui delle rivalità con quel titolo in palio le ha avute.
A Santino si può imputare (ma più che a lui ai soliti bookers) che il suo personaggio non sia troppo adatto ad avere un titolo,ma se non si creano rivalità con al centro quel titolo,la colpa non può essere solo di chi al momento lo detiene (ed il discorso classico secondo il quale "È il wrestler che da prestigio al titolo e non il contrario" l'ho sempre trovato molto relativo).
