REPORT: ACE STEEL WAS RE-HIRED BY AEW SEVERAL MONTHS AGO
Source: Nick Hausman from Haus of Wrestling
Nick Hausman (Haus of Wrestling) reports that Ace Steel was already rehired by AEW months ago -- but as a creative hand and not a road agent. This was done to not upset talent backstage.
If there was a hang-up, it came about over miscommunication that Ace would be back on the road with CM Punk and it's currently being ironed out.
Whether all this is true or not, a CM Punk return is still in the works and he's said to be highly motivated in helping the company grow.
So let's hope it all works out.

Fightful reports that Bryan Danielson will be on the creative team for AEW Collision. Danielson has had experience in creative as he helped WWE for a short time when he had to retire. Danielson will join the creative team of Tony Khan, Pat Buck, Will Washington, Sonjay Dutt & QT Marshall. Jerry Lynn, Dean Malenko and Christopher Daniels also put in creative input.
Fightful also adds that Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, Jon Moxley, FTR & CM Punk get heavy input in their own on screen programs.

Re: All Elite Wrestling - Official Thread
CM Punk Back on Good Terms with Tony Khan; Still Expected to Return at AEW Collision on June 17th.
Nick Hausman reports that Ace Steel has been a part of AEW creative for months now. Steel was rehired by the company a couple months after having been released.
There was an understanding in place that once AEW: Collision debuted, Steel would return to the road for AEW, working as an agent on that brand. On 5/16, the decision was made not to bring Steel back on the road with the promotion, and Punk learned of it shortly after.
After that, there was some miscommunication between lawyers and Punk was pulled from a promotional material for the Collision announcement.
All that said, Punk is still with AEW. He is reportedly motivated, and wants to help the company’s growth however he can. Punk’s relationship with Tony Khan also appears to have been repaired. Communication is now open between the two and no issues remain.
