Il gioco consiste nel pronosticare l'intero andamento della competizione in anticipo. La bracket completa e' gia' fuori e si vota semplicemente indicando i vincitori dei matches in tabellone.

I punti vanno a salire piu' avanti si va nella competizione, in particolare:

Vado di breve riassunto delle cose da sapere per quelli che non seguono che vogliono cimentarsi.

La NJ Cup è un trofeo che assegna una title shot contro il doppio campione (e leader dei Los Ingovernable de Japon) Tetsuya Naito, che a Wrestle Kingdom 14 ha vinto il Double Gold Dash, vincendo prima il titolo Intercontinentale IWGP (contro il top heel, capo del Bullet Club, Jay White) e poi il titolo dei pesi massimi IWGP (contro Kazuchika Okada, leader del CHAOS e Ace della compagnia, al termine di una rincorsa lunghissima che parte da WK 8). La Title shot è per Dominion che quest'anno si terrà il giorno dopo (mi sembra) la finale (cosa da tener conto, il vincitore di fatto combatterà finale e match titolato a distanza di 24 ore, così come ha fatto Naito al dome con i due match titolati).

Breve intro alla struttura della NJPW: il roster è diviso in fazioni (dalla più face alla più heel)
- I face//non schierati (nomi principali presenti nel torneo sono Tanahashi e Ibushi che sono i campioni di coppia)
- CHAOS (Okada è il main eventer assoluto della compagnia, uppercarder/Midcarder Ishii e Goto, Yano comedy character che però può battere tutti in quanto carta matta, chiedere a Jon Moxley, Naito e Jay White nell'ultimo G1)
- Los Ingovernable de Japon (Naito e i suoi compagneros, SANADA & EVIL che sono anche un tag team; Shingo Takagi, campione NEVER, titolo delle mazzate nel midcard; Hiromu Takahashi campione jr. heavy IWGP, ed infine BUSHI, junior mascherato. Tutti hanno un titolo in questo momento perché EVIL, Shingo e BUSHI sono campione 6-man/trio, tranne SANADA che non ha nulla)
- Suzuki Gun (Minoru Suzuki leader e nostro psycho-gran-pà/boss della Yakuza preferito, con Zack Sabre e Taichi altri membri di primo piano della stable. Questi ultimi due hanno lanciato la sfida Tanahashi e Ibushi per i titoli di coppia ed infatti sono incrociati nel torneo nel primo turno - scontro 9 e 10 del tabellone. Consiglio gratis che vi sento di darvi, difficilmente si arriverà a due compagni di coppia uno contro l'altro nel turno successivo)
- Bullet Club (sono tutti fuori dal giappone a parte quel pappone di Yujiro e Taiji Ishimori, che è pure uno junior però diciamo che dovrebbe avere il primo turno facile passo a spiegare il perché - poi magari esce a sorpresa al primo turno )

Ci sono meccaniche in NJPW che tendono a ripetersi quando ci sono delle tipologie di lottatori una contro l'altro. VE le sintetizzo.
-Junior Heavyweight difficilmente battono gli heavyweight (può accadere ma poche volte)
-Star attuali battono quasi sempre le leggende/veterani attempati/vecchiardi (nello specifico Kojima, Tenzan e Nagata), ma uno di questi potrebbe fare qualche upset
-Young lion (i giovani del dojo) jobbano a tutti indiscriminatamente e spesso le buscano gratis anche quando non combattono e devono ringraziare pure altrimenti le prendono ancora *biascica mode*

Altre storie da tenere presente, guardando il tabellone
- In basso a sinistra: Gedo è stato per anni il manager di Okada, fino al tradimento di due anni fa. Okada fa sempre una fatica bestiale a battere Suzuki e non è detto che ci riesca. Kanemaru è la bestia nera di Ishimori, quindi se riescono a liberarsi dei due Young Lion sarà interessante vedere come andrà.
- Alto a destra: dell'incrocio Tana&Ibushi vs Sabre/Taichi già detto sopra. SHO e Takagi sono rivali fin da quando Shingo era nei junior ma ora è passato Heavyweight e ha il titolo NEVER (aperto a tutte le categorie di peso), SHO ha sempre perso contro di lui ma è suo desiderio sfidarlo per il titolo NEVER, shot che potrebbe ottenere se lo batte qui - ma appunto non ci è mai riuscito finora.
SANADA è arrivato in finale lo scorso anno perdendo con Okada, la sua bestia nera contro cui ha perso 8 su 9 match (ne ha persi 7 consecutivi, ha vinto al g1 e ma poi ha riperso il match titolato l'ottobre scorso), e come detto è l'unico LIJ senza un titolo (con il leader della sua stable che ne ha due). Quindi è osservato speciale.
- Basso a destra
Goto ha tipo il record di vittorie della NJ Cup (tra quelli in attività almeno, non ricordo se anche in assoluto), quindi bisogna tenerne conto.

Dovrei aver detto tutto.
Ultimo avvertimento, la NJPW fa sempre upset durante i tornei per costruire rivalità per i mesi successivi, quindi è tutto meno scontato di quanto ho raccontato. Specie ora che con la pandemia sono saltati tanti schemi.
