Re: WON Award Winners 2019
Io mi chiedo ancora come si fa a votare Being The Elite come show settimanale dell'anno.

Re: WON Award Winners 2019

Re: WON Award Winners 2019
1. CONOR MCGREGOR (328) 2,269
2. Daniel Cormier (341) 2,012
3. Khabib Nurmagomedov (77) 1,334
4. Amanda Nunes (55) 590
5. Jon Jones (5) 338
6. Max Holloway 93
7. Henry Cejudo 74
8. Cris Cyborg 44
9. Demetrious Johnson 34
10. T.J. Dillashaw 31
This was a battle between the obvious box office star in Conor McGregor, 30, and the fighter who became a rare double champion, Daniel Cormier, 39.
Cormier actually had more first place votes. McGregor lost his only fight but was the key to setting a record 2.4 million buys, the largest non-boxing PPV of any kind, in his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Cormier went 3-0, with stoppages of Volkan Oezdemir to retain his light heavyweight title, then stopped Stipe Miocic to win the heavyweight title, and followed by stopping Derrick Lewis in a heavyweight title defense.
At the time he joined McGregor as the only person to hold UFC title in two weight classes at the same time, although Amanda Nunes followed by the end of the year. He is still the only one to have held both and defended both.
McGregor is likely to be a contender for this as long as he fights, just because nobody can touch his box office magic.
PREVIOUS WINNERS: 2007 - Randy Couture; 2008 - Brock Lesnar; 2009 - Brock Lesnar; 2010 - Brock Lesnar; 2011 - Georges St-Pierre; 2012 - Anderson Silva; 2013 - Georges St-Pierre; 2014 - Ronda Rousey; 2015 - Ronda Rousey; 2016 - Conor McGregor; 2017 - George s St-Pierre
MOST OUTSTANDING FIGHTER OF THE YEAR
1. DANIEL CORMIER (384) 2,253
2. Khabib Nurmagomedov (147) 1,358
3. Amanda Nunes (175) 1,220
4. Max Holloway (28) 457
5. Henry Cejudo (7) 158
6. Jon Jones (18) 142
7. Israel Adesanya (4) 134
8. Dustin Poirier (19) 97
9. Demetrious Johnson 91
10. Kyoji Horiguchi 48
Cormier’s 3-0 record, a second title win and two defenses of different titles in the same year saw him take this category easily, along with almost all the major Fighter of the Year awards for 2018.
His teammate, Nurmagomedov, placed second for his lightweight title win over McGregor in what was the year’s biggest fight.
Nunes came a close third, largely for her 51 second win over Cris Cyborg, ending Cyborg’s 13 plus year unbeaten streak while moving up a weight class to take a second division title.
PREVIOUS WINNERS: 1997 - Maurice Smith; 1998 - Frank Shamrock; 1999 - Frank Shamrock; 2000 - Kazushi Sakuraba; 2001 - Wanderlei Silva; 2002 - Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira; 2003 - Randy Couture; 2004 - Wanderlei Silva; 2005 - Fedor Emelianenko; 2006 - Mirko Cro Cop; 2007 - Quinton Jackson; 2008 - Georges St. Pierre; 2009 - Georges St. Pierre; 2010 - Georges St. Pierre; 2011 - Jon Jones; 2012 - Anderson Silva; 2013 - Cain Velasquez; 2014 - Ronda Rousey; 2015 - Conor McGregor; 2016 - Conor McGregor; 2017 - Demetrious Johnson

Ritenta, ho avuto haters migliori.
