Show godibile per la parte in ring, dove nonostante le clip si vedono match di livello... l'impressione però è che le storyline del post heat wave non siano ancora ingranate, e di fatto si stesse solo guadagnando tempo.
Si parte con un Candido vs Storm molto clippato, in cui quello che si è visto però è stato come al solito di livello. Storm si prende la rivincita di Heat Wave colpendo Candido nelle palle con un microfono per poi connettere un Superplex, sfruttando il fatto che Tammy Sytch non poteva essere a bordo ring.
Comunque nelle interviste post match è palese... il problema di Lance Storm è la sua inespressività facciale. Il linguaggio del corpo, il tono di voce... va tutto bene, tranne quello sguardo che non trasmette niente e smonta tutto.
Nel frattempo i Dudleyz se la prendono con la città di Buffalo, e lo trovo positivo perchè dovrebbe significare che è finita la storyline con Dreamer & Sandman, che ha avuto buoni momenti ma è stata tirata troppo per le lunghe.
Taz vs Sabu vs Bigelow è clippato, ma in questo caso è positivo, visto che il match è un 30-minutes time limit draw, e probabilmente la matà match tagliata, come succede spesso in ECW, sarà stata piena di transizioni per riprendere fiato. Quello che vediamo ha i suoi buoni momenti, tipo Taz che continua a rilanciare in segno di sfida la sedia a Sabu per farsi colpire mentre tiene Bigelow in una sottomissione, davvero d'impatto.
RVD vs Lynn non è al livello dei loro futuri match migliori, ma ha comunque una buona energia, con un Lynn che dimostra tutto il suo valore, ma alla fine deve arrendersi per colpa delle interferenze di Bill Alfonso, che permettono a RVD di connettere la sua Vandaminator.

Puntata molto valida in tutto ciò che ruota intorno ai titoli di coppia, ma il feud Credible-Sandman promette davvero male. Peccato poi per i problemi con l'audio...
I segmenti iniziali ci portano ad un nuovo feud... i Dudleyz vogliono dedicarsi a togliere i titoli a RVD & Sabu. Ed è sicuramente un'accoppiata interessante, che continua il lavoro per rendere RVD un favorito del pubblico, visto che accetta di combattere da solo contro i Dudleyz, anche se la motivazione è il suo ego espanso.
Credible vs Sandman è brutto, unisce due lottatori limitati ad un overbooking nello sticazzi necessario solo a pushare quella roba anonima che è Justin Credible. E come se non bastasse, il post match è segno che un feud tra i due è solo all'inizio... purtroppo.
Il main event è un discreto handicap match, in cui RVD esce fuori davvero bene, e il no contest finale funziona perfettamente per introdurre anche Candido & Bigelow nella lotta titolata, oltre che per continuare la formazione della strana alleanza tra RVD, Sabu & Taz... situazione fumantina, e con tante possibilità...

Un main event dignitoso non salva una puntata scialba...
Si parte con un segmento iniziale un po' banalotto... lo scambio di insulti tra Candido & Sunny e Lance Storm non è stato particolarmente coinvolgente, soprattutto da parte di Storm.
Spike Dudley vs Sal E Graziano è uno squashone di Spike grazie alla solita combo calcio nelle palle + Acid Drop già vista contro Ulf Herman. Ma rivedremo Graziano da queste parti...
Sandman vs Smothers sfrutta gli oliati meccanismi dei match dell'FBI, e per questo risulta godibile, al contrario di Sandman vs Credible della settimana prima. Comunque come prevedibile vince Sandman, che è in condizioni peggiori del solito, e nel post match arrivano Credible e i suoi e Sandman si piglia di nuovo bastonate. Sono solo io a trovare il fatto che vogliano far sembrare Credible così cattivo che gli altri cattivi vogliono fermarlo la cosa più patetica mai fatta nella storia della ECW? Cioè, gli danno anche l'endorsement di Shane Douglas che dice che ogni volta che lo vede gli assomiglia sempre di più.... vorrebbe.
Il Triple Threat Tag Team Match è parecchio confusionario, e mischia buone sequenze a parti piuttosto contorte e riuscite male, con parecchio overbooking ECW-Style. Ma continua a costruire l'attesissimo Taz vs Douglas, e mostra il valore dei campioni di coppia, quindi alla fine fa il suo dovere.
