Ottimo, ho due show Stardom da vedere (oltre a un po' di Lucha), quindi recupero presto. Kyona è interessantissima e sta crescendo molto bene.

Visti i primi 3 show del 2017 del K-Dojo. Tutti e 3 dedicano il giusto spazio al ritiro di Saburo Inematsu, che poi prende effettivamente forma nell'ultimo di questi. C'è però anche la finale del torneo Tag, che vede affrontarsi i soliti Magatsuki (qui con Mashimo & Honda) e NEX4 (in questo caso Yoshida e Mogami, già campioni di coppia). Il match è praticamente diviso in due: una prima parte in cui gli heel lavorano in maniera insistita (e forse fin troppo lenta) sulle game di Yoshida e sul braccio di Mogami e una parte finale molto più dinamica e combattuta. Il guaio è che tutto il lavoro iniziale dei Magatsuki viene reso inutile da Yoshida, che da un certo punto in poi si scorda completamente di vendere e prende a attaccare con i soliti calci e ginocchiate. Alla fine vincono i NEX 4, con un importante pin del pennellone ai danni del campione Strongest-K.

Mi sono poi visto il primo show HEAT-UP dell'anno, che è sempre il solito bel vedere. In particolare mi è piaciuto tantissimo il main event, la difesa di Tamura contro Ryo Kawamura, una piccola perla di Strong Style d'altri tempi.

Update on Honma, from what I can gather he's regaining movement in his limbs and is able to pick stuff up. Honma says he's being moved from emergency ward for recovery and that he'll get better and return to the ring. The actual injury was to the 3rd & 4th cervical vertebrae.

Quindi ottime notizie.

Tomoaki Honma has started to get some movement back after a scary injury that took place on Friday.

Honma took a draping DDT from Jado in a six-man tag team match held in Okinawa. Most likely the finish of the match would have involved his side winning, but after taking the move, he laid prone on the mat and couldn't move. Jado pinned him and medical assistance was provided and he was carried out, almost motionless, on a stretcher. He was fully conscious and talking at the time.

Honma, according to sources at New Japan, has regained movement in his arms and legs but is still very weak. He is as of yet unable to sit up.

Japanese media reports state that the injury was to the C-3 and C-4 vertebrae in his neck and that he's been moved out of the emergency room. He has said that he is getting better and vowed that some day he will return to the ring.

Un triennale oltretutto. Io Shirai sarà in visita a Wrestlemania per vedere se firmare anche lei, inizialmente aveva detto di no ma ci sta ripensando.

E - tegola incredibile per la Stardom - Mayu Iwatani vuole ritirarsi prima di fine 2017.

Ecco, perderne due era pronosticato. Perderne tre sarebbe allucinante, vorrebbe dire rimanere con...Yoko Bito?

Fondamentale pushare rapidamente qualche giovane e muoversi sulle freelancer.

Kairi Hojo of Stardom has agreed to a three-year contract. She’s a great wrestler who was one of the women on the Lucha Underground show against Pentagon Dark earlier this season. Nakamura has been pushing for her to come to NXT for several months, since before we originally reported her getting an offer. She had told Stardom officials that she had turned down the offer and was staying with them. She just told the promotion now that she was leaving and wanted to leave in April. She’s got two titles and Stardom wants to her drop the titles before she leaves. The company felt they were misled by Hojo through all this. Io Shirai, the company’s top star, was more up front about her situation. She’s also reconsidered coming and said that she will be going to Orlando later this month but would not be working any shows over Mania weekend. This is a gigantic blow to Stardom, because they were probably the top two Japanese stars with the group and the key players why Stardom has been viewed as Japan’s top women’s wrestling promotion. Plus the third biggest star from the promotion, Mayu Iwatani, wants to retire before the end of the year. Iwatani was originally booked to win the World of Stardom title from Shirai in December, but the finish was changed to Shirai keeping the belt when Iwatani told the promotion that she wanted to retire in 2017 and Shirai decided she was going to stay. Shirai and Meiko Satomura are generally considered the two best woman wrestlers in the world right now. This would replenish NXT’s women’s division that has really been just Asuka, to a degree Ember Moon, and a bunch of women who aren’t anywhere near that level
