•Raw is War begins with a montage of Vince McMahon caring more about Stephanie than the WWF title, Shane starting the new WWF era, Paul Wight and Steve Austin destroying the Titantron, and the Undertaker threatening Stephanie.
•In the backstage area, Vince is shown talking to Stephanie telling her to relax becasue the show is going to be great with great commentating. Five or so poliece officers are shown behind them as Vince makes refference to them saying she will be safe.
•Shane McMahon/Ken Shamrock Confrontation.
-As the Corporation (without Vince McMahon) made their way to the ring, we notice a new "WWF.com" logo added to the entrance way of the Titantron. Shane introduced Rodney and Pete Gas into the Corporation as Shamrock grabbed the microphone from Shane and yelled at him asking where they were when his sister was abducted and he was placed in the back of a car. Shane exclaimed that he feels Shamrock's pain and it will all be explained tonight. Shane then asked for Stephanie to come down to the ring and says that he needs her. Vince tried to hold her back, but she insisted and Vince went with her along with the police officers.
•Vince McMahon/Shane McMahon Confrontation.
-As Stephanie went to hug Shane, he held her off as Vince McMahon took the microphone yelling at Shane for causing a plublicity stunt. Shane began to yell at Vince for keeping his priorities on Stephanie instead of giving a damn about the Corporation or Shane. Shane then pointed to Jim Ross and told him that he is fired becasue he can't talk, and that Michael Cole is just as bad. He then went on a rant saying that there is no room in the Corporation for old cronies, and therefore fired Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco. Vince then told Shane that he is on a power trip which brought Shane to ask where Vince's power trip is. Vince then announced that he is going to bring Stephanie home which results in him exchanging some words with Shane. Shane then slapped Vince on the cheek which resulted in an intense stare down. Stephanie then pleaded with Vince to walk away as Shane continued to simle devilishly yelling that "Mr. McMahon" is not "Mr." or "father" to him anymore or. Shamrock then left the ring and the Corporation with a few unpleasant jestures for them.
•In the backstage area, Vince McMahon is heard saying "that is all there is to it" as he thanked Ken Shamrock for his loyality and respect. The Cronies then thank Shane as well, as the poliece officers help escort Stephanie, Vince, and the Cronies into the limosene. As we move to the dressing room, we see Shane begin to talk with the Corporation.
•Sable versus Tori v. Ivory v. Jacqueline
*Four Corners Womens Championship*
-Sable makes her way down with Nicole Bass walking slowly behind her down the ramp and into the ring. Before the match even begins, Nicole Bass chokeslams and destroys Tori, Ivory, and Jacqueline letting no match take place.
•The Undertaker Interview.
-The Undertaker is shown on the Titantron telling Vince McMahon that they can not run or hide because it is Stephanie's destiny to join the Ministry. He then told Vince that he will sacrifice another person tonight and it is all Vince's fault.
•Steve Austin is shown making his way into the backstage area.
•Steve Austin/The Rock Confrontation.
-Austin exclaimed that he will get his own belt back from the Rock and that he will not be treated like Vince McMahon was by Shane. Austin then told the Rock to give him the belt in the middle of the ring or he will go in the back and drag his ass into the ring and fight him. The Rock is then shown at the same bridge Austin threw the Rock's IC title over in 1998 telling Austin that he will not throw the belt over, but wants him to come and get it.
•Mankind is shown in the backstage area asking a staff member where the boiler room is. After the commercial break, Michael Cole is shown standing outside of Mankind's boiler room telling us that he will get a word with Mankind after the following match.
•Paul Wight pinned Christian
-As the whole Brood comes to the ring not knowing who will fight, the Undertaker's voice comes over the loud speakers telling Edge and Gangrel to leave Christian there or pay pennance. Christian tried to hit Paul Wight, but Wight absolutley dominated the match hitting a showstopper for the pin.
•Mankind Interview.
-Mankind said that 13 days from now the Big Show will leave the boiler room on a big stretcher.
•Shane is shown in the back telling Rodney and Pete Gas to go and destroy Mankind in the boiler room. After the commercial break, both men are shown running towards the boiler room.
•Billy Gunn versus Val Venis
-Billy Gunn did his usual opening as did Val Venis. Both men had a well fought match with the momentum constantly changing. When Billy Gunn got thrown to the outside of the ring, Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart attacked him. This brought Val Venis and the Road Dog to the outside to help as Debra stood in the ring waiting. Debra seems smitten to Val Venis as Jeff Jarrett quickly pulls her out of the ring and into the backstage area.
•Rodney and Pete Gas are shown finding and entering the boiler room as the WWF cuts to commercial. After the commercial break, the Mean Street Possee is shown getting destroyed by Mankind in the boiler room with chairs, steel poles and steel doors as well. Mankind then told the camera that he hates their handcut as he begins to whine out loud.
•Jeff Jarrett/Owen Hart versus Acolytes
-As all four men begin to fight in the ring, the rest of the Ministry of Darkness filled up the ring to attack Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart.
•The Undertaker/Debra/Ken Shamrock Confrontation.
-As the Undertkaer made his way to the ring, Debra is shown being held by Midian as Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart are being contained in two of the corners. The Undertaker began to choke Debra while telling her that it is all Vince McMahon's fault. He explained that Debra will take Stephanie's place because she was suposed to be his victim tonight. Ken Shamrock then stormed into the ring with a baseball bat which cleared the whole ring except the Undertaker. The Undertaker told Shamrock that if he hits him he will never see his sister (who is in the boiler room) again. Shamrock then cleared the ring (including the Undertaker) with the baseball bat and ran to the boiler room to find his sister. The Undertaker told Shamrock to be very careful.
•The Rock is shown waiting patiently for Steve Austin on the bridge. After the commercial, Ken Shamrock is shown running to the boiler room to find his sister.
•The Godfather pinned Goldust
*Intercontinental Championship*
-As the Goldust v. Big Boss Man match is about to begin, the Godfather made his way down the aisle with five hos. The Godfather offered the Big Boss Man any one of his five hos to let him wrestle instead. The Godfather then said that if the Big Boss Man doesn't want them, there are Red Wing's hockey players here who will take them. The Big Boss Man said that he wanted all five of the hos which is accepted by the Godfather. Goldust took the early advantage over the Godfather and kept it for a good part of the match. The Godfather, after getting back into the ring, placed a version of the death valley driver on Goldust to become the new Intercontinental Champion.
•In the boiler room, Ken Shamrock found Ryan sitting down on the floor just like Stephanie McMahon. Mankind ran to find her as well, but both men hear a sound as the WWF cuts a promo for WWF The Music: Volume III.
•As the WWF came back from commercial, the Ministry of Darkness is shown in the boiler room destroying Ken Shamrock and Mankind as the WWF shows clips of Shane McMahon slaping his father. While Ryan Shamrock watched, the Undertaker told her that it is all her fault.
•Hardcore Holly pinned D'Lo Brown
(Disqualification) *Hardcore Championship*
-Al Snow joined Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler for commentary as it is announed that he will face the winner of the following match. As Holly fought D'Lo outside the ring, two of the Detroit Redwings began to get into a fight with him. Al Snow announced that he will not let Hardcore Holly loose the match as he does a rant on Mankind. As both men used hockey sticks, tables, glasses, and tables D'Lo Brown goes to the top rope for the frog splash on Hardcore Holly (who is on top of a table). Al Snow ran into the ring to knock D'Lo off, but instead he gets hit repeatedly with chair shots. As D'Lo re-assended for the frog splash, he hit an empty table while Hardcore Holly recieved a pin.
•The Undertaker is shown in the backstage area telling Ken Shamrock that he will become a part of his Ministry of Darkness, but he will have to suffer first. As the WWF goes to the "roody poo" bridge, we see the Rock picking up a fishing rod and throwing it over the edge.
•After the commercial, Ken Shamrock is shown being laid up by the Titantron as the Undertaker makes his way out. He immediatley picked up Christian by the throat and tossed him on the Titantron as he ordered Edge and Gangrel to put him on the symbol. This allows Ken Shamrock to untie himself as the Brood and Ministry fight. Mankind then came out to join the fight as the Undertaker observed the whole fight with smoke coming out of the Titantron. As he lifted his arms, he began to descend into the ground.
•X-Pac/Kane pinned Triple H/Test
*Tag Team Championship*
-As Kane dominated most of the match, X-Pac begged for a tag but never recieved it. Finally, by accident, Kane tagged in X-Pac but he tried to stay in the ring. X-Pac calmly moved Kane to the outside as he gets leveled in the ring by Triple H and Test. As Kane gets tagged in, he quickly clears the ring giving X-Pac a chance to bronco bust X-Pac. As Tripel H threw Test back into the ring (and left the ringside area) Kane hits a tombstone piledriver for the pin. After the conclusion of the match, X-Pac and Kane chase Triple H off into the backstage area.
•As the Rock is standing and waiting on the "roody poo" bridge, he recieves a beep saying "3:16." The Rock gets a bit of de ja vu and explained that he hopes Austin is there.
•Ken Shamrock/Undertaker Confrontation.
-Ken Shamrock quickly took the microphone and screamed for the Undertaker to come meet him in the ring because he has been getting away from him the whole night. As the lights go out, the Undertaker is shown in back of Shamrock who automatically gets attacked. Quickly however, Shamrock got the upper hand causing the Ministry to come out and capture him again.
•As the Corporation comes down to save Ken Shamrock, they all stop before entering the ring. Shane is then shown at the ramp smiling as Triple H and the Big Boss Man attack Ken Shamrock on the outside. The lights then quickly go out as the WWF cuts to the "roody poo" bridge.
•As the Rock was about to throw Austin's championship belt over the bridge, Austin's black Ford Truck pulls up and Austin gets out. He quickly attacked the Rock who throws him over the bridge along with his belt.
