Eh, che Deron sarebbe andato a New York ero certo, solo che non sapevo se già quest'anno ai Nets o nel 2012 ai Knicks.

Da simpatizzante dei Jazz dico che pensavo a ottobre potesse essere questo l'anno buono, ma già a dicembre la vedevo grigia.

A questo punto Utah avrà tre prime scelte, e col contratto di Kirilenko in scadenza si va sotto la luxury tax; non ci sarà spazio per manovrare nel mercato dei FA ma tanto nessuno ci sarebbe andato a SLC.

Mah, sono cmq fiducioso: una buona guardia tiratrice e due buoni comprimari ed è un discreto team. Terrence Jones e Honeycutt presi entrambi sarebbero il sogno.

secondo me gran colpo dei nets, hanno preso un giocatore fantastico come deron senza svenarsi come ha fatto new york per carmelo.... più che altro bisogna vedere se riescono anche a prolungagli il contratto e a trovare una sg e una sf decenti per completare un buon quintetto....

OKC mi piace da matti, però mi sa quasi di tradimento...e Philly ormai non è più Philly(vabè che se devo guardare chi non c'è più....posso giusto aggrapparmi a quel sacco di Juwan Howard, e non è il massimo)....boh, non mi son mai ritrovato a "scegliere" una squadra da tifare, ma sarà il caso che ascolto il cuore, che sotto sotto dice Son...ehm Thunder

E altro dato interessante, in 6 mesi hanno cambiato conference Melo, Stat, Deron, Boozer e Billups (senza contare J-Rich e Hedo).

The Hawks also received forward Hilton Armstrong in exchange for guard Mike Bibby, rookie guard Jordan Crawford, swingman Maurice Evans and a first-round pick in this year's draft.

Utah traded Williams on Wednesday to the Nets for rookie forward Derrick Favors and point guard Devin Harris, and two first-round picks. One of the picks is New Jersey’s unprotected first-rounder next year; the other is a 2012 first-round pick originally acquired from the Golden State Warriors. The pick is protected through the first six picks of the Draft in 2012 and 2013, and through the top seven picks in 2014. That means that the pick will go to Utah if the Warriors do not finish with one of the six worst records in the league in 2012 or 2013, or one of the seven worst in 2014. If none of those scenarios occurs the first-round pick turns into second-round picks in 2014 and 2016.

The Cavaliers and Clippers have agreed upon a trade of Mo Williams and Jamario Moon for Baron Davis and a first round pick in 2011 (reportedly unprotected), according to sources that spoke with Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports.

Williams is signed through the 12-13 season, though he has an early termination option for 11-12 and player option for 12-13, neither of which he's likely to utilize.

Davis is signed at a higher annual rate, but his salary for 12-13 is a partial/non-guaranteed season.

Davis signed a five-year, $65 million contract with the Clippers in the summer of 2008 in what was originally intended to be a chance for him to unite with Elton Brand.

Davis was largely ineffective in his first two seasons on a Clippers' team that had been depleted, but he came into the current season in better shape and energized by the emergence of Blake Griffin.

The Akron Beacon-Journal reports that the Cavaliers will not use their traded player exception from the LeBron James sign-and-trade to complete this deal. Sending Moon along with Williams for the contract of Davis works for Cleveland in terms of matching salaries.
