Ultimate Superstars Action returned for a special match. Hiroshi Fukuda came out as his Mr. Perfect character and teamed with Hara Cena (HARASHIMA) to battle HHHH (Danshoku Dino) & Tsuyoso Michaels (Antonio Honda). HHHH & Michaels were accompanied by Choina (Seiya Morohashi) and she interfered several times to dish out some low blows. One of those low blows was given to Michaels for some reason and he had to be taken to the back. HHHH used a hammer to weaken his opponents and then gave Fukuda the Pedigree. All of a sudden “Real American” played over the speakers and out came Antonio Hogan! HHHH hit Hogan with the hammer and followed with the Pedigree but Hogan Hulked up. He fought back and gave HHHH the Leg Drop. Hara Cena followed up with the Attitude Adjustment and Fukuda brought the match to an end with the Perfect Plex.

5. Open the Triangle Gate #1 Contender Tournament 1st Round: BxB Hulk, Masaaki Mochizuki{W}, Dragon Kid (16:11 Shin Saikyou High Kick) T-Hawk, Eita{L}, U-T
There was a random drawing to decide the tournament pairings. Hulk refused to reveal his team, but they quickly revealed themselves. Mochizuki & Kid came out for their scheduled match with Doi & Kong wearing their street clothes. They announced they would be teaming with Hulk, and they had secured replacements for their match. Gamma & Fujii took their place. After the match, Doi voiced his displeasure at their disregard for the schedule. In any case, they were in Kyoto, and something always happens when they are in Kyoto. He hinted that today was no different.
Tanizaki called out Flamita. T-Hawk explained that Flamita had returned to Mexico. Tanizaki was irritated, and announced he intended on calling him out as soon as he returns.
U-T was on the receiving end of a brutal rolling savate kick from DK, causing a severe injury to his mouth & jaw. He bled profusely, and was taken backstage. He never returned, forcing T-Hawk & Eita to fight a handicap match.
Tozawa confronted Hulk after the main event. He said that not too long ago, he invited Hulk to join MONSTER EXPRESS. Yet, here he was teaming with a bunch of old timers. That makes him an enemy. Mochizuki took exception. He said that at World, Tozawa lost the Twin Gate titles. At World, he defeated Stalker Ichikawa. The difference in skill was clear, so the result for tomorrow is not in doubt. Tozawa said a poorly thrown together team will never be able to beat a team of best friends. Mochiizuki brought up Tozawa wanting to invite Hulk to join a team with Takagi in it and how impossible that was. Mochizuki left Hulk to close the show out, but they were interrupted by MAD BLANKEY. Doi said they couldn't close out the show when there were so many things left to say. He talked about the Dream Gate match that was set for Korakuen. That decision was made without consulting him, while he was away in England. He didn't want to do it in Korakuen, he wanted to do it right here in Kyoto! Yet, Hulk went and entered himself into this tournament. Doi said he would still do the title match, but only if Hulk agreed to a stipulation. If Hulk didn't agree, Doi won't do it. This would surely piss off the Korakuen fans. Further, he wouldn't defend the Triangle Gate against the tournament winners. The stipulation was, the match would be changed to Hulk defending against Doi, Cyber Kong, Mondai Ryu, & Kzy in a 1 on 4 handicap match. The winner of the fall becomes champion, even Mondai Ryu. Hulk refused. Doi reminded him that the Nagoya fans were also promised a title match. Plus, the whole tournament here for the Kyoto fans would be rendered pointless. Surely Hulk didn't intend to betray the fans like this. Hulk agreed to the stipulation. Doi wished him luck in the tournament finals tomorrow, & MB left.
After some brief discussion over a temporary team name; Mochizuki suggested the Pantalons since all 3 wore long baggy pants, Hulk was left to close things out.
