Eh, farò sicuramente quelli ECW, ma sugli altri due sono un po' indeciso... non è che sia riuscito a seguire tutto, su alcune cose mi baserei su ricordi di anni fa.

In generale, è uno degli anni d'oro dell'Attitude, con storyline che resteranno negli annali, quindi al primo posto non ci può essere che la WWF. La WCW è in ancora lento declino, reggendo per il periodo d'oro di Goldberg, ma la NWO che tanto ha avuto successo sta venendo abusata fino al punto di non ritorno che ci sarà lunedì 4 gennaio 1999. Nel mentre la ECW ha raggiunto un punto alto con Heat Wave, ma non sempre le perdite sono coperte da nuovi arrivi... ad essere onesti probabilmente la ECW è da considerare terza quasi sempre, se non nel triennio '94-96 in cui era avanti anni luce come freschezza del prodotto.

Non un anno fantastico per la ECW, anche a causa del regno della morte di Douglas, che avrà costruito la rivalità più sentita, ma ha anche preso in ostaggio il titolo per un anno intero. Però, al contrario di Justin Credible, aveva almeno un campo in cui si distingueva... al microfono era un'eccellenza.
Face e Heel in questa ECW si confondono, premio Taz come heel più che come face perchè per la maggior parte dell'anno è stato veramente "miserabile" e incavolato contro tutto e tutti, con Douglas che almeno all'inizio era il più face-ish. Non posso davvero premiare Douglas per l'anno, e per Credible vale il solito discorso... non basta essere una merda per essere un bravo heel.RVD sarà pur sempre uno dei più stronzi nel lotto, ma come si fa a non adorarlo con quell'ego espanso che si ritrova? Valeva davvero il prezzo del biglietto, anche da solo.
Il primo Taz vs Bigelow non sarà un trionfo del ring, ma è una battaglia tra bestioni che mi ha fomentato come poche, con i due che sembravano davvero in grado di distruggere tutto.
Per il tag team, era lotta tra RVD & Sabu e i Dudleyz, ma premio i secondi perchè fissi nella categoria, mentre gli altri due hanno avuto anche i loro momenti in cui hanno pensato ad altro.

Gsquared scusa per non aver messo gli awards di fine anno della WCW e ECW, avrei voluto recuperare qualcosa che mi mancava ma con il tempo non ci sono riuscito. Sorry ;(

Comunque anche io ricordo un Awesome vs Tanaka di alto livello (quanto mi piacevano entrambi paradossalmente hanno fatto un bel match anche a ONS 2005)

ECW Hardcore TV 8/1/1999
Puntata in cui succede poco... match già visti, tempo perso con Credible, qualche promo e un forzato riferimento ad "Impact Players" che ci tornerà evidentemente chiaro più avanti.
Si parte con i Dudleyz, Price e One Man Gang che buttano New Jack dallo stage su un tavolo... figo!
Dopo viene annunciato che nel 3-way match oltre a Storm e Lynn ci sarà Spike Dudley, ma poi abbiamo una ventina di minuti di video di repertorio, tra cui Taz vs Bigelow di Heat Wave.
Questi recap sono purtroppo seguiti da dei ripetuti tentativi di vendere Justin Credible come il nuovo top heel della federazione, quando sostanzialmente è da sticazzi a prescindere da quanti risultati ottenga. Pure il promo di Dreamer comunque è stato una pacchianata, per inciso.
Nel frattempo la sbruffonaggine di RVD è sempre a livelli altissimi ed è fantastico così.
Il resto è praticamente tutta roba già vista, finendo con l'ennesimo riepilogo della card.
