Puntata dignitosa, ma continuo a non sopportare i match troppo tagliati... si va avanti verso Guilty As Charged.
Il pre-sigla mostra come secondo me si sia andati troppo oltre con Spike... un conto è essere l'underdog che trionfa oltre le avversità, un conto è squashare quasi settimanalmente dei superheavyweight come faceva lui in quel periodo.
RVD vs Mike Lozansky è una discreta spotfest, con il canadese che ci mette del suo, ma è lì principalmente per permettere a RVD di mettere in mostra il suo repertorio, come al solito.
In tutta la storia di Taz che rompe il collo a Sabu, la cosa che mi ha fatto scompisciare è l'espressione soddisfatta di Roadkill quando dice "Chickens". Con tutto il fatto che Doring continua ad essere inutile, ma il potenziale comico dell'Amish è indubbio.
Continua l'angle tra Dreamer e Funk con una sostanziale ripetizione di quanto successo a N2R.
Quello che vediamo di Dudleyz vs Balls, Tanaka & Myers è buono, ma è tagliato al punto che non si può minimamente valutare come match, come purtroppo in quel periodo capitava fin troppo spesso. Comunque Hack è ovviamente lì per prendersi il pin, e così succede via 3D. Per il resto, pare che Axl Rotten sia tornato in azione.
Sabu vs Roadkill è sensato da parte dell'amish, che cerca di infierire sul collo del nipote di Sheik, ma alla fine ha più il risultato di mostrare che l'infortunio non era nulla di che piuttosto che mostrare Sabu come eroico, un po' perchè lo stile di lotta di Sabu è troppo rischioso per vendere bene un infortunio di tal portata, un po' perchè il selling di Sabu è rivedibile come al solito. Comunque vince Sabu con un Arabian Facebuster su un tavolo.
In tutto ciò, Taz che distrugge chiunque voglia avvicinarsi al titolo del mondo prima di lui è figo. Piuttosto è il campione che ha fatto un regno indecente.
Credible appare 30 secondi e riesce comunque ad essere la parte più stupidamente inutile della puntata. Sarebbe stato decisamente meglio sostituirlo con più spazio per Sunny in spiaggia <3
Tommy Rogers al microfono è terribile, ma almeno il suo segmento ci regala il quarto comandamento dei Dudleyz... non nominate il nome dei Dudleyz invano!

Puntata così così... continua la costruzione di Guilty as Charged discretamente, ma niente di particolare sul ring, oltre al solito problema Credible.
Si parte con un annuncio... Shane Douglas si è infortunato al polso. Magari se si fosse riposato per un po' invece che restare campione da infortunato per un anno sarebbe stato meglio alla fine, e in sovrappiù avremmo avuto anche dei regni più interessanti di questa roba in cui ha difeso il titolo una volta ogni tanto tanto. Peraltro è successo durante un match per i titoli di coppia, in cui Sabu ha pinnato Shane Douglas, ma poi è stato mandato in ospedale dagli assalti di Taz e dei Dudleyz, che si sono confermati campioni. Ma tanto Sabu combatterebbe anche con una sola gamba e senza braccia...
L'FBI mi regala sempre dei nuovi membri fantastici... One Man Gang! Comunque il match successivo parte come Chetti & Nova (Meanie è andato in WWF) vs Guido & Smothers, ma poi per l'intervento di OMG Nova viene infortunato e sostituito da Dreamer. Il match è molto clippato, purtroppo, ma il poco che si vede non è male. Alla fine l'intervento di Credible causa la sconfitta di Dreamer come prevedibile...
Storm che usa Wrestling With Shadows per fare un promo da heel nel 1998, paragonandosi a Bret Hart, è qualcosa di splendido. Meno il fatto che sia lui che Mikey non combattano alla fine, e al posto di uno Storm vs Mikey abbiamo un New Jack vs Rod Price, che è uno squash di due minuti in cui New Jack colpisce Price con più o meno di tutto prima di chiudere con la sua classica El Kabong.
Tanaka vs Credible è discreto per quanto possa esserlo un match di Credible, grazie comunque soprattutto al giapponese. Il classico finale overbooking merda di Credible è stato smentito dall'intervento comunque chiamato di Dreamer che da la vittoria al giapponese... e meno male, perchè questo ci regalerà un Tanaka vs RVD che promette benissimo.
Si chiude con il Misirlou che lascia parecchi spunti sulla faida tra Dudleyz & RVD, e anche un piccolo segmento con Nova che dopo essere stato abbandonato dai suoi amici dice che ora è il momento di prendersi sul serio... e sono curioso di vedere cosa succederà. Doring & Roadkill innocui, Credible inutile come al solito.
