Promotion of the year: GCW (un plauso anche alla OTT e alla C4, che in territorio canadese offre match di qualità combinati a storyline interessanti con nomi nuovi del panorama, visto che il Canada è un mondo autarchico del wrestling per forza di cose)

Comeback of the year: PAC torna in Dragon Gate.

Un po di NJPW, WWE, LU e IW.

Wrestler of the year: Hiroshi Tanahashi - Boh, non sapevo chi scegliere, Omega mi ha gasato la prima parte di stagione ma poi si è un po spento, Gargano si ma gli è mancato qualcosa, dico il Tana per il ritorno finalmente ad un ottima annata, con tre grandi match contro Suzuki, Okada ed Ibushi e la vittoria del Climax.
Tag Team of the year: Young Bucks - Molto più per il loro ruolo extraring, tra BTE e All-In, che per il ring dove hanno comunque fatto vedere grandissime cose.
Match of the year: Golden Lovers vs Young Bucks @ NJPW Strong Style Evolved - Il picco più alto della mia rivalità preferita dell'anno, il match che mi ha fatto emozionare di più.
Feud of the year: Kenny Omega vs Cody ed il feud interno al Bullet Club - Tutto bellissimo, dalla reunion dei GL a come è stato portata avanti tra NJPW, ROH e BTE, mi ha emozionato in più occasioni e catturato come non mi capitava da tempo.
Face of the year: Pentagon jr - Continuo a ritenerlo il prototipo di face ideale per i tempi attuali, l'antieroe che spacca le braccia e fa cattivo è perfetto.
Heel of the year: Tommaso Ciampa - Riuscire a farsi fischiare pesantemente per un internet darling non è per niente facile, lui ci è riuscito con un personaggio stronzissimo.
Rookie of the year: Ronda Rousey - Niente da dire, credo sarà un plebiscito.
Newcomer of the year: Ricochet - Non pensavo si adattasse così bene in WWE, lo vedo anche migliorato al mic; siamo però ancora ad NXT che è un mondo a parte, vedremo nel main roster.
Best female: Becky Lynch - Bravissima ad andare over in maniera impressionante, ha fatto anche alcuni ottimi match verso fine anno.
Best in-ring performer: Johnny Gargano - Mr Takeover, non ne ha sbagliato uno, con la perla ad inizio anno contro Almas.
Best on mic: The Miz - Al microfono è sempre uno spettacolo.
Best gimmick: The new Daniel Bryan - Partito alla grandissima nonostante il turn alla cazzo, ho fiducia in grandi cose per l'anno prossimo.
Most improved wrestler of the year: Lars Sullivan - Mi faceva schifo e adesso mi fa un po meno schifo.
PPV / iPPV / Special Event of the year: Slammiversary XVI - Ci sono stati indubbiamente show migliori, ma voglio premiare Impact Wrestling per essere tornata finalmente a fare un ppv bello, divertente e godibile.
Promotion of the year: Lucha Underground - Nonostante tutti i difetti di questa stagione rimane la mia promotion ideale.
Comeback of the year: Bobby Lashley - Non mi viene in mente altro, se è valido Daniel Bryan dico lui.
Moment/segment of the year: Ibushi che salva Omega dal pestaggio del BC/La vittoria del titolo di Omega e la formazione della Golden Elite - I miei due momenti preferiti della mia storyline dell'anno.
Shocking moment of the year: Reigns e la leucemia - Non c'è altro da aggiungere.

Aggiungo il Weekly show of the year: Being The Elite - Ormai lo aspetto ogni lunedì più di ogni altro show.

Non ho visto quasi un cazzo quest'anno e sarà decisamente monotematica, quindi:

BEST OF 2018

Wrestler of the year: Johnny Gargano. Ha battuto sul filo la mia scelta "mark" AJ Styles. Annata inappuntabile per lui, dall'inizio alla fine. Costruito perfettamente, ha regalato match eccelsi, i migliori dell'annata.

Tag Team of the year: Undisputed Era. Scelta markissima. Lasciando stare l'agonia del Main Roster, l'UE è sempre stata sugli scudi per tutto l'anno sfoderando un match più bello dell'altro.

Match of the year: Johnny Gargano vs Tommaso Ciampa Last Man Standing Match da Takeover Brooklyn 4. Tra tutti i gioielli targati Gargano scelgo quello che più mi ha fatto saltare dalla sedia.

Feud of the year: Gargano vs Ciampa.

Face of the year: AJ Styles. Quante volte ho detto che personalmente è il pro-wrestler degli anni '10?

Heel of the year: Tommaso Ciampa. Un Internet Darling capace di farsi odiare.

Rookie of the year: Rhonda Rousey. A me piace un casino e fomenta altrettanto. Non ci fosse stato Gargano avrebbe monopolizzato buona parte dei miei Awards assieme a Becky Lynch.

Newcomer of the year: Ricochet. Non gli davo un euro.

Best female: Becky Lynch. Straordinaria ed "empatica".

Best in-ring performer: Johnny Gargano.

Best on mic: The Miz.

Best gimmick: The Man. Becky Lynch.

Most improved wrestler of the year: Rhonda Rousey. Fà passi da gigante match dopo match.
