Deludente il disco nuovo dei Porches

Devo ancora ascoltarlo e lo farò quanto prima, ma era chiaro come Aaron stesse spingendo davvero troppo su quei suoni lì anche per i suoi standard, sennò un contratto con la Domino non lo strappi mica. Cioè, il Porches che piace a me resta questo qui:

Non ho commentato nulla perché commentare i gusti personali di qualcuno lo trovo un po' meh, ma rinnovo i complimenti a Saimas per la classifica, è un gran lavoro.

Parlando di PJ Harvey che compare nella classifica, ha tirato fuori già due pezzi dall'album in uscita, Community of Hope e The Wheel, personalmente preferisco il primo che mi ha colpito.
Anche M.I.A. sta pian piano tirando fuori qualcosa, Borders mi piace molto, decisamente meno Boom ADD che comunque è un pezzo solido. Non mi aspetto che torni ai fasti di Kala ma già con altri tre-quattro pezzi del livello di Borders mi fa contento

Ascoltato Jet Plane & Oxbow, vorrei ascoltarlo un altro paio di volte per un giudizio completo ma di sicuro mi piace. Consigliatissime Quiet Americans, Backchannels e Wildlife in America.

Maratona finita. Credo sia chiaro che quello che ho fatto è più un esercizio stilistico che una vera e propria classifica, diciamo che è stata una scusa per riascoltare pezzi significativi degli ultimi anni ma soprattutto per promuovere gli stessi. Per dire, Holland dei Black Angels ora alla posizione Numero 15 è in questo momento un pezzo che ascolto e canticchio ogni giorno tanto da pensare di metterla nella Top10, con il senno di poi, dopo averla riscoperta grazie anche a questo progetto. È un po' tardi ma ho finito da poco di recuperare gran parte della roba, visto che il tema del topic è "top 10 in music" metto qua la mia personale top 10 degli album del 2015.
