Australian Open. Federer previously shared the record for most consecutive appearances in the majors with South African
Wayne Ferreira, who appeared in 56 straight Grand Slam tournaments from the 1992
Australian Open through the 2003
Australian Open.
During Federer's incredible career, he has set records for the most Grand Slam titles (17) and most consecutive semi-finals (23) and quarter-finals (36) reached. He advanced to 10 straight Grand Slam finals from 2005
Wimbledon to the 2007
US Open and 18 of 19 Slam finals through the 2010
Australian Open.
