Al momento non c'ho voglia di votare tutto.

WWE inguardabile, vado abbastanza sul sicuro nel dire che ad oggi il 2017 è il peggior anno di sempre, hanno ammazzato perfino il ritorno degli Hardyz che sono più over della figa, e io li avrei preferiti alla grande a continuare l'Expedition of Gold che sarebbe stata la storyline dell'anno a mani bassissime.

TNA pietosa, l'anno scorso la salvavano i Broken Hardys, quest'anno è proprio la morte.

Lucha Underground ti fa fare pace col wrestling, peccato che per il futuro non ci siano certezze e comunque per la prossima eventuale quarta stagione ci saranno parecchie defezioni pesanti e sarà necessario un mezzo reset, temo.

La AAA non fa granchè ma è un oretta a settimana che si lascia guardare, spero in una buona Triplemania.

MEGALOL moment/segment of the year: Jinder Mahal diventa WWE Champion

Comunque annata estremamente negativa in WWE, in pratica si salvano le prime settimane dell'anno e qualcosina sparsa qua e la tipo le prime tre ore di WM, Elimination Chamber, Royal Rumble fino all'omonimo match, gli split tra Jericho e Owens, #DIY e Enzo & Big Cass. Per il resto merda che caga merda cagata da una merda. Del resto non seguo quasi un cazzo, quindi sto zitto.

Best Wrestler: Joe Doering, perché tornare a calcare i ring dopo un tumore al cervello batte tutto il resto. Senza contare che Big Joe è tornato alla grande e ha disputato un ottimo CC, dimostrando di essere anche molto in forma. Giù il cappello.

Best Tag Team: Gli Strong BJ sono sempre una grande garanzia, premio loro.

Best Match: Boh. Forse Hideki vs Kamitani.

Best Rookie: Takuya Nomura se vale ancora, altrimenti il fresco di debutto Yuya Aoki sembra molto promettente.

Newcomer of the Year: Kenji Fukimoto vale? E' vero che ha 40 anni, ma fino allo scorso anno era il più classico dei signor nessuno, mentre negli ultimi mesi è diventato uno dei Death Matcher più over del Giappone. Altrimenti Koji Iwamoto, che appena arrivato in AJPW ha vinto il torneo Jr e ha dimostrato di essere perfettamente in grado di poter essere il futuro Jr Ace della promotion rossa.

Best in-ring performer/Most Underrated: Kengo Mashimo, per quantità, qualità e anche capacità di adattamento a qualsiasi tipo di avversario. E' un fenomeno e andrebbe venerato come una divinità.

Most Improved: Jake Lee. La AJPW ha iniziato a trattarlo "da adulto" e lui ha subito dimostrato di essere pronto già dall'ultimo match di hypaggio pre-Carnival da 37 minuti, in cui è rimasto sul ring quasi tutto il tempo. Devo ancora vedere il title match contro Ishikawa, ma il Carnival ha confermato tutti i miglioramenti, soprattutto a livello di personalità.

Evento dell'anno: La night di apertura del Carnival è l'esempio di come dovrebbe essere fatto uno show di Puroresu. Anche gli show del 5 e 25 maggio della BJW sono serissimi candidati però.

Il documentario ha fatto un ottimo lavoro di costruzione. Poi non è che ci sia chissà quale concorrenza (a memoria mi viene in mente solo Becky)

Comunque newcomer c'è Bate che avevo dimenticato e in WWE è considerabile come tale.

Ho dimenticato anche Naito come heel! Sicuramente lui sopra Roode.

Può essere poco, ma è assolutamente sufficiente in questo caso per dare a lui il voto.

Tante potenzialità finora inespresse. Per fare un esempio, SmackDown con un grandissimo roster, e c'è Mahal campione, contro Orton per la terza volta. Poi a WrestleMania tanto casino per fare Lesnar-Goldberg titolato, sacrificando Jericho-Owens, e poi nel RAW successivo non appare nemmeno Goldberg (se non nel post show, a telecamere spente). Io se ripenso a cos'era la WWE nel 2009-2010-prima metà 2011 tutto sommato sono contento del roster che c'è ora, ma anche della mentalità più aperta. Adesso se prendono Nakamura lo presentano semplicemente come Nakamura, mentre fino a non molti anni fa lo avrebbero WWEizzato fingendo che non avesse mai lottato altrove (tipo Cesaro). Però mi fa incazzare che gli show siano la maggior parte da sticazzi e si fatichi a trovare MOTYC anche da parte di Rollins, Owens, Styles, Nakamura...

Di bello c'è stato comunque il Festival of Friendship, per ora il mio segmento preferito dell'anno. Anche lì: potenziale enorme, e poi buttato nel cesso. Tant'è che non si è mai più accennato al legame tra Owens e HHH, dopo che con la vittoria dell'Universal lo scorso agosto ci avevano fatto sognare. Alla fine Owens fu solo accessorio per portare al feud tra HHH e Rollins.
E poi io ho apprezzato tantissimo il segmento della casa di Wyatt in fiamme.

Ovviamente solo di quanto visto (mentre la sto facendo mi sto rendendo conto di quanto sia PROGRESS-centrica, ma ci sta visto che sta facendo un'annata della madonna)

Match of the year: SPPT vs London Riots. Quello che più mi ha emozionato.

Face of the year: Jack Sexsmith. Il lavoro fatto in PROGRESS è assurdo
Heel of the year: Questa è dura. Seven e Dunne hanno fatto un lavorone in questo senso, Gibson rimane a livelli folli, ma quest'anno si è trovato in spot meno importanti rispetto al 2016. Page sta facendo robina interessante in EVOLVE, ma in ring non è a livello, idem Hendry in WCPW. Se seguissi con più costanza l'Attack! probabilmente andrei con Damian Dunne. Daje, Zack Gibson sia.
Rookie of the year: Premio una federazione, la Lucha Forever. Nata da poco ha già prodotto eventi parecchio interessanti, che culmineranno a Londra con un evento con Marufuji

Best female: Boh, in WWE hanno rovinato tutta la divisione. Asuka potrebbe meritare, idem la Storm ma non le ho seguite tantissimo. Vado con Kay Lee Ray
