- With the move to Destination America, TNA Impact will remain a two-hour TV show. The show will air either on Tuesday night or Wednesday night.

– TNA was working to sign more than just a new TV deal for the Impact Wrestling TV show. While the Destination American deal is a smaller TV deal with less available viewers, TNA took the deal because of additional programming options and because Destination America will treat them as an important part of the network.

– TNA was in negotiations with WGN, but the deal would have held TNA off of TV until the second quarter of 2015. TNA couldn’t take the risk of being off the air for that long and passed.

– TNA reportedly had discussions with FOX and CMT as well.

– TNA’s negotiations with Spike reportedly ended about three weeks ago. Spike TV was offering a smaller deal and would not give TNA additional programming.

– Some of the additional programming that Destination America may air are the TNA One Night Only specials.

– TNA will now focus on signing talent to new deals. From there, the plan is to refocus the creative direction of the company and to re-work the entire company from the inside out.

– Josh Matthews will be the point person on overhauling the TNA website.

– Live event touring will likely remain very limited going forward.

– The company is working on a new Canadian TV deal.

TNA IMPACT WRESTLING ON SPIKE TV RETURNS IN 2 WEEKS

Thursday night’s episode of TNA iMPACT! was generally the same as it was last week. The show drew 980,000 viewers and a 0.2 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic, up 1% and even with last week’s episode.

The final rating was a 0.83 (0.8) cable rating, down 1% from last week’s 0.84.

TNA may tape new TV as soon as December 15th. They would likely tape in the mid-west, and the tapings would be for the debut episodes on Destination America.

TNA had dates on hold at The Manhattan Center in New York City for early January. If they can schedule tapings for the middle of December, they may let those New York dates go and then tape more TV on the UK tour in January.

felice che la tna continui e francamente sapevo che avrebbe trovato un'altro canale, con un milione di spettatori in america non potevano chiudere, senza contare quelli nel resto del mondo, adesso avranno meno soldi ma credo che alla fine il prodotto rimarrà su ottimi livelli come negli ultimi mesi, eccetto bound of glory che è stato uno schifo assoluto

Felice del fatto che la TNA non sia defunta. Certo, dato il numero di case raggiunte dal nuovo network, un ridimensionamento è inevitabile. Curioso di capire se fanno sul serio circa i due/tre show a settimana. Posto che uno sarebbe il classico impact, un altro british bootcamp e simili, cosa farebbero per l'altro show?

Dal 2010 ad oggi tra le poche cose decenti ci sta ReAction, ecco un programma simile non sarebbe male.
Anche se piuttosto che su queste puttanate dovrebbe magari concentrarsi sulla costruzione dei talenti, ne ho parlato sul blog però, non ho voglia di ripetermi.

According to PWInsider, a number of Destination America executives went to TNA headquarters in Nashville to discuss ways the company can be integrated into the network and different plans the two sides can work together.

TNA plans to do a complete reboot of Impact Wrestling when the series debuts on Destination America. TNA producer Bryan Edwards recently noted that they will have new logos, new graphics and basically a fresh start on everything, though an official launch date is still being discussed.

There is talk that the December TV tapings, if they take place, may be held in Michigan. TNA is working out details right now before making a decision whether to tape in December or January. As previously reported, TNA has dates on hold at the Manhattan Center the week of January 6th.

Dixie Carter tweeted: "A special message to our great fans in Canada. We're negotiating with potential TV partners to bring @IMPACTWRESTLING to you! Stay tuned."
Also tweeted: "It was a big day yesterday w/top execs from @DestAmerica at our offices. MANY exciting announcements coming…..VERY SOON….."


TNA officials are currently working on finalizing plans for their next TV tapings, which could come as soon as the week of December 15th in the Midwest. As noted, TNA has a hold on the Manhattan Center for the week of January 6th but they may tape in December and let those holds go, leading to tapings in the UK during their annual tour.
TNA officials are said to be extremely happy with the new Destination America TV deal.
The feeling within TNA is now that the TV deal is done, they can start working on new talent deals, creative plans for next year and more internal changes, which John Gaburick has been working on.

One of the Destination America selling points for TNA was that TNA will be an important cornerstone of the network. The deal also opens up the possibility of more TNA programming. Dixie Carter made it clear during negotiations that she didn't want a deal for just another two hours of Impact Wrestling.

There's no date confirmed yet for when Impact Wrestling will begin on Discovery but it could air on Tuesday or Wednesday.

3) Terzo slot "che varierà a seconda delle necessità" (es. Quando c'è il Boot Camp, fanno questo. Quando c'è un ONO, fanno quello, ecc...)

Saturi il canale, basta vedere i ratings su Spike quando c'era Xplosion e ReAction.
Parti dal solo Impact e poi in seguito vedi, inutile partire a 1000 se poi fai ratings di merda.

C'è speranza che possa tornare Russo?
Perché, ridendo e scherzando, gli show migliori di quest'anno sono stati quelli in cui c'era lui.
C'è un abisso fra la prima sessione di tapings a New York e la seconda, quella da HardCore Justice in poi. Non penso sia un caso.
