Kurt Angle is believed to have signed a new deal with TNA that allows him to divide his time between working for the company and taking on acting work in Hollywood. Angle, who has been in Hollywood working on his acting career, is expected to be part-time with TNA going forward.

It is believed that Angle’s re-signing is the big announcement that Dixie Carter has been teasing on Twitter. As previously reported, Angle’s deal with TNA expired last month and while he spoke with WWE, there was only interest if he was going to commit full-time, which Angle wouldn’t agree to.

There have been reports that TNA Executive John Gaburick was in New York City today, finalizing a new TV deal for the company. According to a source, that is not true as Gaburick is currently in Nashville, TN at the TNA offices.

TNA is still negotiating with multiple parties to secure a new TV deal. If they do secure a new TV deal, the company has a verbal agreement for three dates in early January at the Manhattan Center in New York to tape TV.

TNA Impact Wrestling airing on Challenge TV on Sunday October 19 2014 was viewed by approximately 128,000 people according to the Broadcasters’ Audience Research Board. The numbers are down from slightly from the October 12 2014 airing which scored approximately 137,000 people. Impact Wrestling ranked in 10th place for the night; The lowest Impact has been since its debut on the network. This is down from last week’s fourth place ranking on Challenge TV. The highest viewership for any show on ChallengeTV was Classic Who Wants To Be A Millionaire which drew 202,000 viewers. Overall, more people were watching ChallengeTV this week but less people were watching Impact Wrestling.

Impact Wrestling on the Challenge TV +1 hour scored 23,000 viewers and ranked in 4th place on the ChallengeTV +1 listings. The number of viewers on the +1 hour offset is higher than the past weeks’ 20,000 viewers. This brings the night’s cumulative Impact Wrestling viewership to 151,000 viewers.

The premier episode of TNA British Boot Camp 2 on ChallengeTV also aired Sunday October 19. The broadcast failed to make the ChallengeTV top 10 for the night. This is in stark contrasts to claims by TNA President Dixie Carter that British Boot Camp received nearly double the views for the season 2 premier than the first season. British Boot Camp hit the top 10 only in the Challenge +1 hour offset. The broadcast scored a mere 16,000 viewers and ranked in 10th place.

Strano, Dixie Carter che dice una cazzata o mente spudoratamente. Chi l'avrebbe mai detto?

Low Ki spoke with The Miami Herald for a new interview promoting his appearance for House of Glory on Saturday. Check out the highlights:

On why he doesn’t think it would be different for him in WWE today: “It’s still the same management system in place. My issues were not with the wrestlers. My issues were with management. They fired me before Christmas, so that tells you something. It’s still run relatively the same. The only difference is you have a different person with a similar mentality in position, which is Triple H. With Triple H, in all fairness to WWE, at least he was a wrestler. So his perspective on how to manage the company and arrange things may have a little more intimate detail in mind than what Vince [McMahon] would do because Vince was never a wrestler. At least Triple H has the in-ring experience to see things differently. The reason why I say Vince McMahon has never been a wrestler is because he has never put his body through hell to the degree of what his performers do and then advance into management. At least Triple H has that insight into potentially directing the company into a different position.”

On how uncertainty of TNA’s future has helped the product: “In this case with the company being questioned about their future with TV network and where they are going to be, it seems to have ignited the product. The cool part about that is you see a little more traditionally how it should be with the management does the management stuff and the wrestlers do the wrestler stuff. You don’t interfere in each other’s responsibilities. I think because of that you are seeing a little more personality of the wrestlers. You are seeing a little more value out of them.”

Per ImpactWrestling.com, TNA Executive Director Kurt Angle released the following statement on the status of TNA Knockout Gail Kim, who was recovering from some recent injuries.

“Just wrapped up a conference call with Gail Kim. She is healed and ready to return to IMPACT this Wednesday night. What better way for the original Knockout to return than by exercising her rematch clause and challenging TNA Knockouts Champion HAVOK? This is going to be a great match from two of the best women in wrestling today! Now that’s a TREAT for TNA fans this Halloween!”
